Lovely hotel but the on site restaurant,
Why it’s the customer fault they have only one chef on
Was told I had to wait 1hour 45 mins for a reservation.
Walk in restaurant with only 8 people sat at tables
Was sat straight away couldn’t order until some one came up which was 20 mins later
It’s a joke
Hotel was clean and tidy, that's the good part. AC set to 19°C but doesn't actually do anything and there's no window to open, evening staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. However, morning staff seem to be lacking this same ethos. Do not forget to book a table for breakfast! Even if there are empty tables they will turn you away and say come back 30 minutes later. I did exactly that, when I returned I was told they could not seat me again due to not booking a table and that there was no food left even though breakfast did not end for another 30 minutes. I enjoyed my stay here until that moment which has now left a sour taste about this particular hotel.

The room at Premier Inn Glasgow Newton Mearns was clean, comfortable and quiet. Be aware, though, that your room won't be serviced unless you specifically arrange it with reception.
Unfortunately, our experience with The Social restaurant and bar was very disappointing. Reception told us they had "managed to squeeze us in", yet when we arrived there were only two people in the restaurant, and they were just having drinks.
Although the menu looked promising, we waited around 45 minutes for food that was largely made up of boil-in-the-bag rice, packet sauces and microwaved items. The prices certainly didn't reflect the quality. It filled a gap, but that's about all I can say.
We also discovered that last orders at the bar were before 9.45 pm, and by 9.50 pm another couple were turned away for drinks.
Afterwards we crossed the road to the Hungry Horse, where we found a warm welcome, a lovely atmosphere, much better-looking food and cheaper prices.
We stayed for three nights and didn't return to The Social after the first evening. The room itself was good, so I would consider staying again, but I'd definitely make alternative arrangements for food and drinks.
The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast was good.
Unfortunately, I'm giving this hotel 3 stars because the cleanliness of our room fell well below expectations. We found old pieces of food on the carpet and hairs in the bed, which was very disappointing. After a long journey, I considered asking to be moved to another room, but I simply didn't have the energy to deal with the inconvenience.
While the excellent staff deserve recognition, the standard of cleanliness would prevent me from staying here again.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Premier Inn, M77 j4, this time for my Aunt's 90th birthday.
The hotel is 50 yards from the motorway providing perfect access for travelling either into Glasgow ( about 15 minutes ) or SW towards Ayrshire.
The rooms are spotless and comfortable, breakfast is really good and the staff without exception are friendly and helpful, especially Paula in reception who we met this time.
We'll always stay here when we come to Glagow.
