  Bedroom window sealed shut - so constantly wanted out for some actual fresh air, even eith AC. Lightning either all on or all off...no comfortable in-between. Glass shower room/toilet wall....2/3rds blurred but rest clear....so felt like I had ZERO privacy while sharing this en suite room. Wouldn't stay again despite great location.....plenty either hotels near by. Lastly...the lack of kettle in room, even though tea/coffee available downstairs...was also an annoyance. Didnt feel it was worth the money.

  Otelin konumu gerçekten harikaydı. Edinburgh'daki birçok yere yürüyerek ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Çevrede çok sayıda restoran, kafe ve alışveriş noktası olması da büyük avantajdı. Odanın yerleşimini çok beğendik. Özellikle yatağın altındaki sürgülü valiz alanı ve çekmeceler oldukça kullanışlıydı. Aydınlatma ve havalandırma kumandaları da çok pratikti. Personel sorularımıza yeterli cevaplar verdi ve yardımcı oldu. Eksileri ise temizlik konusunda bazı detayların atlanmış olması, odadaki pencerenin açılamaması ve odada buzdolabı bulunmamasıydı. Genel olarak konumu ve odanın kullanışlı tasarımı sayesinde memnun kaldığımız bir konaklama oldu.

  Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend. We had 3 hours of sleep last night due to hearing water running/the boiler every time someone had a tap on or used the toilet or shower. It even woke us up when we got to sleep. There was no one around this morning to mention this to sadly. The duvet was stained and it was a very small room for the price. I wished I had known that we were going to hear the running of water all night through pipes and the ceiling. Location is ideal but a shame about the rest!

  We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and unfortunately got almost no sleep. Our room had no window and very poor ventilation, which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable. The air conditioning was also faulty — when switched on, it made a very loud rumbling noise throughout the night. It was so loud that we had no choice but to turn it off. Then, at around 5am, the air conditioning started dripping water into the room, making the situation even worse. We complained to the staff, and we were told that we could email the hotel regarding the issue and request a refund. We have now sent four emails and have received absolutely no response. This was particularly upsetting because we were staying for the Edinburgh Marathon the following morning. We were unable to get the rest we needed before running the marathon, entirely due to the conditions in the room. The combination of no ventilation, excessive heat, extremely noisy and faulty air conditioning, water leaking from the unit, and the complete lack of response to our four follow-up emails made this a very poor experience. We expected the hotel to take responsibility and at least respond to our complaint, especially after their staff specifically told us to contact them about a refund.

  Una decepción para el precio que tiene. Nos alojamos 4 noches y pagamos alrededor de 1.200 € con desayuno incluido. Sinceramente, esperábamos mucho más. Lo único destacable del hotel es su ubicación. Entramos en la habitación y ya nos encontramos el cristal del cabecero de la cama completamente lleno de polvo. Lo más sorprendente es que, en una de las ocasiones en las que solicitamos expresamente en recepción que hicieran la habitación, se limitaron a hacer la cama y ni siquiera limpiaron el polvo del cabecero, que siguió exactamente igual. Además, no hacen la habitación a menos que lo solicites expresamente en recepción, algo que consideramos bastante sorprendente para una estancia de 4 noches. La habitación también tiene varias carencias bastante básicas. No había ninguna papelera en la habitación, únicamente la del baño, por lo que tuvimos que poner nosotros una bolsa para poder tirar la basura. En el baño tampoco había ningún vaso o recipiente donde dejar el cepillo de dientes. Otro problema importante fue el ruido constante en la habitación. Se escuchaba continuamente un ruido que parecía proceder del agua del aire acondicionado o de alguna instalación del hotel. Incluso con el aire acondicionado apagado seguía escuchándose, lo que dificultaba bastante el descanso. Las sábanas estaban bastante viejas y presentaban manchas, algo especialmente desagradable. La habitación resulta además poco práctica para una estancia de varios días: en el baño no hay un sitio adecuado para colgar las toallas y, si sacas la ropa de la maleta, hay muy pocas perchas, por lo que resulta difícil tener la ropa mínimamente organizada. Respecto al desayuno, nos pareció muy básico y poco variado para el precio: pan de molde, mantequilla, café, zumo, algo de fruta y bollería. No había prácticamente ninguna opción de proteína y, además, preguntamos si podían preparar algo tan sencillo como un huevo y tampoco era posible. El personal fue correcto, pero sin destacar especialmente por su atención o trato. En definitiva, la ubicación es lo único que realmente salvaríamos. Por 1.200 € por cuatro noches esperábamos un nivel de limpieza, descanso, comodidad, equipamiento, desayuno y servicio muy superior. La relación calidad-precio nos parece muy mala y no repetiríamos.
