The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was a standard room but clean and inviting.
The hotel bar and restaurant which was adjacent to the hotel was tired, dirty and not inviting at all. We walked in and walked straight back out.
It is a good 20min walk into town but it was great.
Rooms are good - typically PI clean and functional. Breakfast was however awful. Very understaffed. No one working the "wait here to be seated" station, no plates for hot food, no cutlery, no pastries with 2 hours left of breakfast. Tables not cleared. Just awful.

Usual Premier with on site restaurant.
Great location for stop over in Poole if you plan to catch the ferry to Jersey or France.
A lovely hotel, even though the builders are in, it is very quiet.
But you need more staff in the bar and restaurant in the evenings, both evenings we stayed there was only 2 girls on, running their feet off!!
Thank you to them for their smiling faces, ive marked 5 stars for service for them!
The only positive thing I have to say is that the room was great.
When we arrived on Friday we enquired about the restaurant that was connected to the hotel and was told that we could walk in and we didn't need to book.
However when we did decide to go to the restaurant we were asked if we booked and then was told two different wait times, which made no sense as it pretty quiet although there didn't seem to be any staff around.
We decided that it was best to somewhere else for breakfast and dinner whilst we stayed there as we assumed we would get the same response which was either a 20 minute wait or a 40 min wait to be seated.
This needs to made clear that guests need to book breakfast and dinner if they want to dine in the restaurant not walk in
