Food & service was a big of a joke, very disappointing.
Very tired furnishings and paintwork. Bit dark and depressing. Not exactly spotless. Wouldn't stay again.

Booked a room for a family of three for one night with a young baby. Didn’t start off great as we were greeted by a rude receptionist, Caz who was sarcastic and unhelpful.
It got worse as we settled into our room and realised how grotty it was. Our stay endured a horrible smell in the room, dirty pillowcases, a toilet that wouldn’t flush, a dirty, mouldy bathroom and just a general sense that the place was not clean, which made us feel uncomfortable throughout our stay.
The good points -
The Beefeater was good and the staff were polite
Location of the hotel was good and close enough to the sea.
This however does not outweigh the fact that we did not meet one polite staff member in the Premier inn and the unacceptable level of cleanliness.
We never usually leave reviews which shows the significance of this stay. Premier Inns at other locations are generally good and comfortable. This is the only Premier Inn that I have had stayed at where we have had something negative to say.
First time I've stayed at a Premier Inn. A few lessons learned. It's basically a room with the basics. We stayed for 2 nights so my advice is, take a little washing up liquid with you so you can clean your cup and maybe take your preferred beverage with you.
The room was clean, just remember, if you're staying on a weekday there are many people staying here for work and so there's quite a bit of noise around you from 05:30 am from other guests using showers, hair dryers etc. 🤓
