  Check in was excellent and room was spacious and cool on a very hot day. However the reception we got at the restaurant was much to be desired. The place was virtually empty and we'd been told no need to book. At 5.45 we were informed we would have to wait until 7 for our meal !!! When asked why such a wait we were informed that there was only one chef on duty. I still couldn't understand why it needed to take over an hour. My advice is stay there by all means but think twice about eating there.

  Very clean hotel, rooms were excellent, beds extremely comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Although very busy, it was very quiet. We had breakfast only, that was excellent, with plenty of choice and excellent value.

  Room was large. Mattress very comfortable. Sadly restaurant was a let down. Very short staffed. Evening meal was mixed. Starter over cooked. Main was good. Didn't order desert. As other customers had waited over an hour for desert.

  Location was great, close to the beach, town centre ..however the rooms were terrible, from dust on every surface to stains on the pillows and even hair on one of the beds. Coming with a 2 year old that's crawling everywhere. We had to constantly keep an eye on what he touches. Breakfast was just as horrible, coffe mugs that had stains to plates that seemed wiped with a dirty cloth and left to dry.

  The (accessible) room was brilliant - very spacious and with very new facilities. The evening dining experience rates as one if the worst I have ever endured. Having entered, my party of four was told there would be a one- hour wait as we hadn't booked. We had a drink while waiting before being offered a table. There followed a further ONE-HOUR wait for our order to be taken. Our waitress was pleasant enough although another older lady appeared visibly stressed - presumably because she was trying to manage the bar at the same time. When the food arrived it varied from poor to inedible. Having spent nearly three hours there, it was bed-time so no time for a dessert ( a blessing in disguise perhaps). Other reviews also speak of a poor dining experience but nothing appears to change.
