  No airflow in rooms. EXTREMELY HOT rooms. They had 2 fans in the room but they just made noise and didn't provide much air movement. Single window that opens 1 inch. No air ventilation in the bathroom so it causes the whole room to get humid and bathroom is mouldy as per pic. The complimentary "breakfast" was poor. Stale croissants and the same coffee you get in the room.

  Really disappointed with our stay Really not happy with our stay. We all woke up with bites and rashes, so we’re now worried there could possibly be bed bugs. I can’t say for certain that’s what caused them, but it definitely needs looking into. The room also wasn’t properly clean. The mirror was dirty and the fan was absolutely filthy. There were also renovation works going on, which meant we had to eat in our rooms because we couldn’t use the usual dining area. We understood the renovations, but the room still should have been properly clean and comfortable. What also annoyed us was staff wanting to clean our room while we were still in it because they wanted to finish early. Then when we were getting ready to sleep, someone came to our door saying we were making too much noise. It just made the whole experience really uncomfortable. Overall, we’re really unhappy with the stay. Between the cleanliness, the bites and rashes, the renovation works and the way we were treated, it definitely wasn’t the experience we expected from Premier Inn.

  Do not book in the summer!!! You have been warned.Just had the most miserable few days when the rooms were over 30° all night. They give you 2 fans which just waft hot air around the room. There is no relief from the heat. Windows dont open so no escaping the heat. No food facilities as pub next door is being renovated. They maintained they provided breakfast as in croissants, fruit etc but it was awful cheap and nasty croissants in a package and fruit consisted of a apple very bruised the one day I bothered to go down. Finally we requested room service and that didn't happen either, had to complain for the room to be done the next day.

  Do not book during summer. We stayed before an early ferry with our three young children. The room was unbearably hot all night despite three fans being provided. The outside temperature dropped, but the room remained stifling due to poor ventilation. This appears to be a recurring issue, with other guests reporting similar experiences during warm weather. The breakfast arrangements were also poor, with limited options and nothing suitable for my family’s gluten-free requirements. Most disappointing was the response from Premier Inn Customer Services, which focused on the lack of air conditioning rather than addressing the fact that the room did not provide a reasonable night's sleep. Edit: in response to Premier Inn's response, I have already contacted Guest Relations. This review was a direct consequence of their completely inadequate response and failure to honour the Good Night Guarantee
