  Hotel's location is amazing, but the hotel itself has so many cons: - Terrible wifi in rooms. Hard to get connection in any part of the room, struggled making calls due to wifi. - One towel per room - While I understand that you can ask reception for an extra towel, when we did this, the man told us that one towel per person was the norm for hotels. As someone who also needs a towel for their hair, I have to disagree. - You cannot open the window in the rooms, so the air is very stuffy. There is aircon, but it feels like the rooms are either too stuffy or too cold with the ac on . - If you get the accessible room, you will find that the bed is extremely low down. If you have back or knee issues, this will affect you a lot. -No bottled water in rooms.

  I’m generally happy with Premier Inns when they serve a particular purpose — for example, staying near Gatwick before an early flight. But for a weekend break, they’re perhaps not really my first choice these days, and our stay at Bournemouth West Cliff rather reinforced that. The location is a definite plus: a short walk to the beach and town centre, with a bus stop directly outside for Sandbanks and Studland. It’s a very convenient base for exploring the coast without having to drive. The hotel delivers what you’d expect from a Premier Inn. The bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast was good and good value, and the staff were helpful when we had an issue with our room. There were, however, a few niggles. The biggest for me was the inability to open the bedroom window. I really dislike sleeping in air-conditioned air and prefer some fresh air, so I was surprised to find that the window handles had actually been removed! Our first room also had a very strong, sickly smell, rather like a previous guest had been vaping in it. The inability to open the window made this particularly unpleasant. Thankfully, the front desk moved us to another room, which was considerably better and had no smell. Housekeeping was another slight disappointment: our room wasn't cleaned during our stay and the tea and coffee weren't replenished. I appreciate that this was a Bank Holiday weekend and that the hotel can't control its guests, but breakfast was quite chaotic, with children running around the dining room, rather than the relaxing start to the day we'd hoped for. The hotel also wasn't particularly cheap over the Bank Holiday weekend. I appreciate that prices reflect demand, but at the rate we paid, some of these niggles were more noticeable than they might have been at a typical Premier Inn price. Overall, this is a solid budget hotel with an excellent location, a comfortable bed and decent breakfast. There are just enough niggles to stop me giving it four stars. For a weekend break, I’d probably spend a little more next time for somewhere with more character and a more relaxing atmosphere, but as a convenient base for Bournemouth and the surrounding coast, it does the job perfectly well.

  Our 3rd Summer stay here... Service always polite and professional, Rooms are starting to look a bit tired now, but still clean and acceptable, location is perfect. Feedback for management, please share knowledge or very basic information to hotel staff on getting around by bus or even maps. Speaking to 3 members of the team, none of them had any idea on what bus to get back to the hotel from very local places.

  Premier Inn West Cliff Hotel – Chef Sheila We had a lovely experience at Premier Inn West Cliff Hotel. The hotel is nice and clean, the food is really good, and the customer service is excellent. I come to this hotel every year with my kids, and it has always been a lovely experience for us. A special mention to Chef Sheila, who was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. She always listened to what I needed and was happy to provide whatever my kids wanted. She was kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Sheila, for your lovely service and for always being so helpful with my children. We really appreciate it! ❤️

  This is probably the third time we have booked at this specific Premier Inn. Its location is very good and has easy access to the beach along with the fact that its relatively close to the town center and a bus stop just outside the reception. Regarding the rooms, they were OK, criticisms I would have about it would be the fact that the carpet and the space under the table were unclean as we found some breadcrumbs while we were walking around. The bathrooms were relatively clean but the soap and shampoo bottles were empty. I would also say that the parking charges are quite expensive (£11 per night) but other than the above the time we spent there was enjoyable.
