Booked a Premier Plus room on this stay, so had a top floor room facing south with views of the racecourse next door, buildings in the distance on the hill (lovely sight at night with their lights on) and if you were lucky, the trains passing in the distance. The rail station is about a 20 minutes walk away which I made use of going to Exeter and Plymouth and a regular bus service to Brixham, Paignton and Torquay from the town centre which also has a good range of shops. Nice big Tesco and fuel station across the road. Room was clean and to the high level that I have come to expect from Premier Inn. Only knocked a star off of service as the check-in was done via touch screen rather than face to face at reception, but when I did speak to the team here, all were friendly. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had an easy check in. The bar and restaurant was well decorated with a lovely atmosphere. In particular we received great service from Josh and Corrina who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and pride us with any information on the area we needed. We had to stay another night with work and Josh checked the availability and made sure we got booked in before all the rooms went. Overall i would give them both 10 out of 10 for service and professionalism
