  A 4* hotel compared to some others I've stayed at. Room spacious, bed comfy, bath & shower excellent, quiet place to stay. Highly recommended.

  Located in a quiet part of Exeter.5 minutes walk to the cathedral area and shops.Exeter Central Station a 10 minutes walk.Friendly staff, clean and tidy in all areas including rooms.

  I spent nearly 5 months living in this hotel after my home was flooded during a storm. The service from the first to last days was excellent. I had a few minor issues which were rectified promptly and professionally. Every staff member showed genuine care and interest in me which made me feel at home throughout. Thank you to: Nadine, Gemma, Adriana, Ana (I think?), Theo, Victoria, Tyler, Binu, Sriram and more. Plus some lovely views from certain rooms.

  Great location. The meals I ate in the restaurant were class and good value even if they took a bit of time arriving. Very impressed by their staff members running the busy bar and restaurant and still managing to assist demanding guests checking in. If Premier Inn don't want to frustrate their guests before they get to their rooms then perhaps employing extra staff for the shift around check in times could prove prudent. Also impressed by their key security. They would not give me an extra key for my partner until she was at the desk and provided her details in person. Congratulations, somebody is paying attention to security at Premier Inn! Tyler was especially helpful !

  Starting with a positive: the room has a nice air condition which is quite important for summer. The staffs are lovely and despite the lack of them, were trying their best to help the busy flow of the hotel. Now the negative: I am afraid I might have been infected by dust mites or bugs of some sort in my room. I have raised red patches all over my body which I thought was from outside, but most likely from the bed/carpet. It is all over my arms and legs and neck, all the areas exposed when i sleep. When I asked for my room to be completely cleaned (the only one time I asked within 5 nights), my room appeared cleaned by my sheets were not changed, proven by very messy disheveled sheets when i removed the duvet. So I left the hotel this morning with extra red itchy patches on my skin... Customer service might argue that I should have gone down, complained, and asked for a new room. Really no guests would enjoy doing that when they have to pack all their stiff to move again when they pay to have a holiday and relax. Mine was restless. So good sleep not attained. I would not have bothered to put it on here if the room was properly cleaned. But it wasn't. So here it is on Google reviews. I would caution a stay here for those who has skin allergy reaction to mites. I would also caution the hotel to completely disinfect the room, even put new mattress in.
