  My husband and I arrived after being discharged from the local hospital following a car crash. We are not local. They gave us the nearest easily accessible disabled room - my husband uses a wheelchair. I can not thank the staff enough for for making our two night stay as smooth as possible. They were attentive, thoughtful and generous. Deepest gratitude and special mention to Ashanti, Levente and Michelle.

  This was the sixth time I have stayed here since 2023 and it has always been consistently good. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. This time I didn’t have to wait to check in on arrival, Julia was there and was very efficient. The service at breakfast and dinner was excellent every day. My room was quiet and comfortable. The location is very handy, so close to the railway station and within walking distance of the city centre. I shall definitely be back.

  Sound proofing is non existent. We have experienced a horrendous nights sleep due to what can only be described as a herd of elephants trying to get their daily step count in. We can hear every single step/thud from the room above. We had to wait for them to stop walking around before we could go to sleep ourselves, were woken up in the night several times and them woken again at 5:30am and have been listening to it constantly ever since. The hotel is seriously lacking any soundproofing between floors so don’t expect a good nights sleep!!!

  Lovely cool room during this heat, really clean and helpful staff. Close to everything here. Will definitely come again. Might take the train. Oh and don't forget the kebab shop round the corner:)

  New menu due so most of the popular items are out of stock (except desserts). So disappointing but of course so mention when you book meal deal.
