  Easy check-in & parking and decent location. Not really a fan of the new room design, the rooms are still just as dusty, but does feel more modern. The shower needed a proper clean.

  Only stayed one night. Very nice and clean. Room was smaller than every other premier inn we have stayed in. Did go to brewers fayre next door. Was disappointing but understandably as it’s closing down and being taken over so morale of staff was low. Food was awful. But this isn’t a reflection on Premier inn. Great location our room had a lovely view.

  Paid £192.98 for one night in a 'Premier Plus' room, with dinner (2 courses) and 'unlimited'breakfast. Sounds like a great deal. No. It's not worth the money. The room was fine, though not really any better than a standard double. We had 'free' WiFi, included. My particular gripe is the restaurant. The '2 course' dinner was severely limited, no fish and chips available, then banoffee cheesecake, not available with caramel sauce, (could have had chocolate sauce, but didn't fancy that with banana). I don't know what else was unavailable, but we settled on 'smothered chicken' which was quite good, though served on cold plates. Breakfast was a disgrace. The soft fruit bowl was full of half frozen soft fruit, there were 2 bananas well past their best, (soft, badly bruised, black). Choice of cereals available and the usual mix of 'continental' breakfast items. The 'full English' comprised: fried eggs, literally floating in about 1cm of grease. Overcooked bacon, black pudding etc. The plates in the 'plate warmer' were stone cold. The cooked part of the breakfast was at least luke warm to start with, and after placing on a cold plate, practically cold by the time it reached the table. Everything was soaked in grease. The staff were a mixed bunch. Some were decidedly off-hand others were polite. There was an general air of scarcely disguised discontent among the staff - not surprising really, following the recent closure announcements. We've used Premier Inns for a good number of years, and nearly always been happy with both the rooms and the restaurant facilities. So what's going wrong? How is Premier going to recover? Good question.

  Hotel is nice enough but starting to look little tired, decoration might be in order. Staff friendly enough. Pity thr restaurant is due for closure because breakfasts have been really good and the staff were friendly.

  So I can not recommend this hotel enough. The staff were very helpful and always on the move. The room were blooming lovely. The bed OMG I wish I had a van to take it home it was so comfortable. My only comment would be theyas a company coI ld invest in some summer duvets as this was a sweltering 10.5 tog. And every room had a full air conditioning system.I loved this hotel and in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger ILL BE BACK lol sorry
