  Booked a premier Plus room for one night. Absolutely no complaints - comfortable bed, coffee machine and tea bags were nicer than a standard room. Chocolate bars were a welcome little addition! We had breakfast next door at the table table - as expected, no complaints at all.

  I am disgusted with the stench in the room!!!! We couldn't stay in there as it smelt like rotting vegetables stewing in mould. We asked for another room but reception told us we would have to pay £115 to upgrade. To top that off they also told us they could only refund the second night we booked and not for tonight. They gave us the customer service number to ring on Monday. We have stayed in hotels, villas and apartments all over the world and have never been so badly treated. We had to search for last minute accomodation paying premium rates.. Needless to say we won't be staying in Premier Inn again!!!!

  Positives - Easy check in, room was comfortable, breakfast was tasty and lots of choice. Close to main devon link road for travelling around and enough parking spots. It was also quiet in the nights. Negatives - Our air conditioning however did not work and despite reporting this 3 times during our 2 night stay, nothing was done to resolve this bar being given a floor and desk fan, the latter of which did nothing. Thankfully situation was resolved via Guests rRelations when we got home (although hotel denied it all and said it was working). Shame as we've never had issues before in other Premier Inns.

  Not worth £202 a night. We booked a Premier Plus Room. It was very small and appeared to be a standard size room with a few extras such as an iron, fridge, chocolate and enhanced wifi. Mould in the corner of the shower. Tight bathroom space. Cooked breakfast was poor quality and the restaurant area is very run down. Bar was closed at 9pm due to staffing. Not as good as other Premier Inns we have stayed in and car park was full of contractor vans. Would not return as it felt like a low end experience and we could have got better for the money paid. Staff were all pleasant and helpful.

  I booked this room at the last minute as my husband had a serious accident and was admitted to the local hospital. The restaurant next door had closed but an amazing receptionist (I wish I knew her name - she was working on a late shift on Sunday 26th July) heard what had happened and gave me the meal she had brought in for her shift. I was overwhelmed by her kindness and care. She even offered to carry my bags. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and despite my personal circumstances I had a very relaxing stay. Thank you lady receptionist.
