We got a room we wasn't happy with so went to reception and spoke to Elleigh who was amazing and couldn't have been more accommodating and moved us straight away, we came down from county Durham so we were tired and the fact Elleigh was so helpful absolutely made our stay. She has been a smile all through our stay and made our stay amazing. Thank you

Great hotel,
Ideal location!
Make sure you register your parking at reception to avoid a fine
And to book in the restaurant next door to avoid disappointment
Brilliant place to stay. The staff were lovely, and everything I needed was close by - whether that was food at the hotel restaurant, McDonald’s, or just a quick 2-minute drive into the city centre.
A big shout-out to the team for handling my issues so quickly. I had a few minor problems with my room, but the maintenance staff member (T), receptionist (Ellie), sorted everything out straight away to make sure I had a pleasant stay. Everyone was friendly and cheerful, especially Natalie from housekeeping.
Thanks to all the staff - I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re staying in the area.
The only small downside was the £3 per night charge for parking. That said, it’s still great value for 24-hour access. It might even be simpler to just include it in the room price so guests don’t have to think about it.
Overpriced and distinctly average, this Premier Inn felt scruffy and dated. Avoid the dormer-style rooms - mine was small, dark, with sloping ceilings (easy to hit your head) and noticeable road noise despite double glazing. Also, charging for parking at a remote hotel with no public transport options is absurd.
