  Not the best experience!! Room cleanish hand prints on the wall door filthy needed wiping , one curtain hanging off so fixed that best we could, staff not friendly at all when the lift arrived the the door open and a member of staff was in it on her phone, went to get in as told no I’m using this one use the other one! Then at 4.30 last some drunk was kicking the door shouting get out my room so not the best nights sleep and never again will I even think about booking a premier inn there are cheaper and better places

  The good points first: I had a pleasant stay overall\. My room was clean, tidy, and smelled fresh on arrival\. The evening meal was fantastic and was one of the highlights of my stay\. Breakfast was a little disappointing in comparison, as some of the food could have been hotter, but it was still acceptable and there was a reasonable selection available\. I would also like to mention Liam on the night team, who was excellent throughout my stay\. I probably bothered him far more than I should have, regularly asking for items and room restocks, but he was always friendly, helpful, and professional\. Unfortunately, there was one issue that left a negative impression\. A member of the restaurant team called Charlie was frequently swearing and shouting across the restaurant\. I found this behaviour unprofessional and inappropriate in front of guests, and it affected the atmosphere during my visit\. While this was only one member of staff, it did make me think twice about staying again in the future\. Overall, the hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with some excellent staff members and good food, but the unprofessional behaviour I witnessed in the restaurant prevented me from rating my stay any higher\.

  During our 3 night stay at this particular premier inn we were disappointed when they forgot 2 meals and had to wait around 30 mins while the rest of the group ate on the first night and we were disgusted to find bugs in the Caesar salads on the second night and also in the side salad on the last night. The waiters were kind for the most part and tried their best to resolve the issue however upon telling them on the first occasion of bugs on the second night of our stay we would’ve expected them to double check the salad on the days following. It was clear to us that this was not done when we found even more bugs in the side salad than the previous night. Please do something about this! Again the staff were pleasant and we understand these issues were out of their hands. Similarly, some of the plates, bowls and cups were not clean and still had food residue on from the night before. Overall, a less than average stay but could’ve been worse.

  I stayed here with a group and it wasnt a great experience especially regarding the hotel restruant. We ate at the hotel restaurant and was not impressed at all. Food took 2 hours to come one night and even after all that there were bugs in the salad! This was the same as the night after. It does not deserve a 5 star food rating. Also the restraunt lacked a lot of the food available on the menu which was quite disappointing as well. The waiters however were very polite and understanding and tried there best to resolve the issue. Rooms were okay but not the cleanest premier inn ive ever stayed in.

  We stayed here the weekend for one night first time. And sadly there were some issues firstly I must say the state of the room (cleanses) wise was just appalling, there were hair all over the carpet as though it hadn’t been hoovered in weeks the hangers for clothes were coverd in what looked like weeks/months of dust you could literally draw your name , the bed sheets smelt disgusting as if they had just been lying there and hadn’t been washed couldn’t smell no washing detergent what so ever . There was dirt in the sink and also there were no toilet roll we had to ask for it off one of the cleaners this is supposed to be re-filled along with cleaning the room EVERYDAY however I am a cleaner myself I clean multiple schools and it definitely hadn’t been cleaned . Or the cleaners just can’t be bothered we paid nearly £200 for one night with just 2 adults and 1 child which is terrible price also but for this price we should be having a room that’s at least be cleaned properly it’s just not acceptable and I will not be staying here again in the future. It’s not fair to take peoples money and can’t do the basic clean on what should be being done for a business like yourselfs it’s shocking and Iv stayed in a few premier in and this has been the dirtiest one. The rest have been very clean how it should be with the extortion prices you charge. Such a shame Only good thing was the location as it’s right by everything.
