Very good clean rooms
Great unlimited breakfast
Helpful staff at breakfast especially Sarah
Decent Hotel chain
Unfortunately they have sold out to an unscrupulous parking chain called horizon who charge you twice once to park there and when you leave 2 weeks later you get a PCN from stating you have not paid ..cowboy outfit
I’m afraid I will not be returning until these’ parking cowboys have disappeared

The accessibility of the rooms designed for disabled guests presented several challenges. Specifically, the bathroom door was malfunctioning, making it difficult to operate. The bed height was notably low, which posed a significant obstacle for transfers. Additionally, the corridor's limited width impeded wheelchair maneuverability, and the wheelchair lift was unfortunately non-operational.

Not the usual Premier Inn standard, all the staff seemed unhappy with exception of a really friendly chap at breakfast. We booked 2 rooms and paid in full in November for a May stay and on arrival they charged us an extra £30 per room or don't check in, we travelled 4 hours so leaving wasn't an option - the receptionist said it was a booking fee because we had amended our booking in November, he asked a manager who said the same. Told me to take it up with guest services who I called, lovely chap but explained he could do nothing until we checked out. He also rang the manager who advised it was todays rate! Guest services couldn't understand the charges either. We parked at 6pm and were told we needed to leave just before 12noon or we would get a fine. Found much cheaper parking 5 minutes away next building from the the pencil museum. The room was tired but clean and the pillows were thin, the bed wasn't the usual super comfy mattress either. The breakfast was 10.99 and at 10am it was dry and nothing we would repeat. On the upside it's in a great spot - just a couple of minutes stroll to the town centre, the market is fantastic and some great places for lunch - we went to a gallery with cafe downstairs and it was brilliant - lovely staff, great food and really good value. Definitely swerve the breakfast - unless you have kids with you as they eat free and that's a great saving. Overall felt ripped off and disappointed with Premier Inn but had a lovely time in Keswick so I'd encourage you to find somewhere else to stay and enjoy the town.
