  The staff were very friendly and accommodating. In terms of the actual rooms and breakfast buffet, it is what you would expect from a Premier Inn. Just standard and okay

  You know what you're getting with a Premier Inn they say? Well, this was the worst one we have ever stayed in. Faulty fire alarms that go off in the small hours due to someone having a shower with the door open (yes, we were told this by management) and having to evacuate the entire hotel for 30 minutes until the despondent firemen arrived, clearly having been there on many occasions to confirm the obvious that there indeed wasn't a fire. The downstairs rooms smell strongly of damp and have views through the sealed windows of litter and untended messy and littered outside areas. The staff are often never at the desk deliberately so you can't voice your concerns. You then have to go through the automated complaints procedure to voice any concerns which then never get answered unless you harass them for follow ups. The decor especially in the adjoining Harvester is akin to an abandoned Happy Eater you'd find off a motorway, think sticky peeling tables, torn curtains, peeling paint, filthy toilets etc. This place isn't fit for cattle, go to the Copthorne down the road instead, it's cheaper and the staff are amazing.

  The rooms are as you expect from a premier but we have not seen a member of staff in the two days we have spent here so far - hence the 3 stars on service (I was trying to be fair). Even the arrival was handled by a machine. Rooms are clean and quiet and the cost certainly is value for money. Will staying again as it is convenient for our needs.

  Great staff but this is about the car park area which is quite frankly in a disgraceful condition. Little strewn everywhere, including. dirty nappies. Creates a v poor first impression
