Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The room we were given had a really bad smell coming from the bathroom. We did report this and asked if it could be sorted, but unfortunately nothing was done about it.
We stayed for 4 nights and were told that if we wanted our room cleaned, we should leave the room-cleaning sign on the door handle every morning. We did this, but our room was never cleaned. We had to keep going downstairs to ask for fresh towels.
On the last day, the lady at reception told us that we were supposed to let them know the night before if we wanted the room cleaned. This was not what we were told when we arrived. We were specifically told to put the cleaning sign on the door handle.
Overall, we were very disappointed with the service and communication during our stay. The bathroom smell, lack of room cleaning and having to repeatedly ask for towels really affected our experience.

DANGEROUS Shower - I smashed my elbow on the sharp edge of the door handle that is placed right in the position where you need to be to shower, in room 205. When I advised the management that I was in significant pain they just replied, 1000's of people have used that shower with no problem, I would dispute that. There was no "Sorry Sir" or "Are you OK?" I was there Friday 21st August for a long weekend. I could not move my elbow without tremendous pain for over a day, so over half the water sports I had planned couldn't happen. Very surprised that the hotel offered no help or any kind of dispensation - Shame on You, Premier in Newquay - If You are going to charge £150 per night and £16 per day just to park your car, You may need to look at your policies.

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience during breakfast at Premier Inn Newquay.
When we came down for breakfast in the morning, a male member of staff with long hair asked for my surname to check the list. I gave him my surname and spelled it out for him around six times, but he still could not understand it. Eventually, I simply repeated it louder so that he could hear me clearly.
I then went outside for a cigarette. To my surprise, the same member of staff followed us outside and confronted me, saying that I had been shouting at him and that if we didn't like it, we could leave the hotel.
What was even more unacceptable was what happened next. My son tried to explain the situation to him, and the staff member told my son to "shut up" and then walked away.
I find this behaviour completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional, especially from someone working in a hotel and dealing with guests and families. Whatever misunderstanding there may have been over my surname, there was absolutely no reason to follow us outside, tell us we could leave the hotel, or speak to my son in such a disrespectful way.
This completely spoiled what should have been a pleasant family stay. I hope Premier Inn management investigates this incident and addresses the way this member of staff treats guests.
Honestly this review is mainly with a lovely woman in mind, Rach, she is welcoming, honest, helpful and kind, she provides a service and smile that makes the stay feel that much more welcoming, she helped me get more for my money and helped me see things I didn’t before, she is an amazing worker and, sitting next to an elderly couple beside me, she is kind and respectful which is always appreciated, suiting the needs and listening with patience, an honest and kind person and worker, 100% remcommend the place to stay due to the ocean views, placement and the staff which is a rarity !
We were in the premium room and even tho we asked everyday for cleaning, in a whole week, they came to clean once only because I did a big complain. When they came they did not clean well anyway, in fact they left a bag of trash on the desk. Once day I went down in reception and they made me pay almost 4£for a coffe ( I wanted a real cappuccino) while the woman just show me the machine and told me to do it myself. G obviously was not the professional machine with milk foam). I just wonder how someone charge 4£ for a coffee that taste like dirty water and expecially when you need to do it yourself. Save your money there are a lot of nice hotels next to this one !
