  This Premier inn is ideally situated for visiting places in the lakes. The room was spotless on arrival and the staff are friendly. The cooked breakfast wasnt as good as all the other Premier inns I have stayed in. So could only give 4 stars

  Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean with brilliant staff who are always happy to help with anything. Delicious breakfasts and incredibly comfy beds. I didn't wake up once during the night, which is an absolute result for me! And a special shout-out to the pristine white bedding

  We are very impressed especially with the service and friendliness of the staff. Brandon is an attentive manager, and Skye's service as a waitress is excellent - very friendly and helpful. I am appreciative of chef Emma who went out of her way to change a dish on the menu to suit my needs. Their supportive, positive and helpful attitudes are an asset to the Premier Inn. Thank you!

  We have stayed here at Ulverston a couple of times recently Can't fault it. Location etc is perfect for exploring the local area The rooms are kept spotless by "Queen Victoria" and the whole housekeeping team and are perfect for our needs , beds are super comfortable and the room amenities shower etc are perfect. Spare pillows if needed are kept in a dust bag in the closet space What makes the stay even more perfect are the staff each and every one of them we met are just wonderful Janet, Lorraine and Shannon who man front of house and reception are an absolute delight and nothing is too much trouble Connor Skye and Brandon who man the restaurant are absolutely lovely and very attentive. The food is lovely! we recommend The Big Stack Burger, Pizzas and chicken goujons with bbq sauce The Moretti on tap is gorgeous and perfectly chilled So all in all you can consider us fans Thankyou for looking after us so well on our recent visits xxx Neoll and Allen

  We had an overall decent stay at this Premier Inn. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and what you’d generally expect from the brand. Unfortunately, the restaurant experience let it down. The evening meals themselves were good, but the service felt rather aloof and disengaged. We waited around 30 minutes for our food, and once it arrived we were simply left to eat. No one came back to check whether everything was OK, ask if we’d like any more drinks, or offer desserts. After waiting for quite some time once we’d finished, no one came over to ask if we were ready for the bill either, so I eventually had to go to the bar and ask for it myself. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, so it felt like there was every opportunity to provide a much more attentive service. It’s a shame, as a little more engagement from the staff would have made a noticeable difference to our visit. One other thing we found unusual was having to book time slots for both breakfast and dinner. We’ve stayed at many Premier Inn hotels over the years and this is the first time we’ve been asked to do this. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did feel a little odd and less flexible than we’re used to.
