    I accidentally booked the wrong Premier Inn, choosing Penrith instead of Keswick. Duty, the manager at Premier Inn Keswick, was incredibly kind and helpful. He went out of his way to help me transfer my booking from Premier Inn Penrith to Premier Inn Keswick, making the whole process easy and stress-free. Thank you so much, Duty, for your kindness, patience, and excellent customer service. The rest of the staff were also very welcoming, friendly, and lovely throughout our stay. I really appreciate everything you did, and I highly recommend Premier Inn Keswick. Thank you again!

    The quality of our stay was mixed. For balance, the positive aspects included clean rooms, good showers & aircon, and helpful staff at check-in. But parking is a rip-off (£12 per night!) with insufficient spaces. And the bar seems understaffed, often unattended so that I was left waiting until someone appeared. The exorbitant £12 per night is not the only issue with parking: if you've paid in advance for several nights, you might not be able to get back in due to very limited spaces, and guests are instead directed to nearby public car parks. PremierInn are keen to highlight that the carpark is managed by a parking company, but this does not absolve them of responsibility. PremierInn should ensure that the fee for their guests is capped at a more reasonable level (especially as the room rates here tend to be dearer than other PremierInns), and maybe use a different (less greedy) car park operator. I understand that parking spaces are limited due to the site layout, but it's made worse by a lot of the parking space being reserved for staff. If the public car park across the road is deemed suitable for guests, then surely staff should be parking in those public car parks so that guests have priority for the limited spaces in the hotel car park. Based on my experience, I'd say it's a good hotel for those arriving on foot or bicycle, but not so good if you are travelling by car.

    Great location, 2 minute walk into Keswick centre. Rooms were comfortable. Just a couple of minor things like the shower leaked and the lock on room door was loose

    Understaffed. More "Travellodge" than Premier Inn. Standards have fallen through the floor. Nothing like it was before the pandemic when I stayed at Premier Inns throughout the country. It WAS my go-to place to stay. Cancelled after 3 days even though I paid for 7 (with no refund option chosen when I booked because I didn't think I would need it as an option). Ruined our weekend anniversary and wife's birthday celebrations.

    Pretty awful overall. Several issues encountered from arrival: No parking available, as the car park is pitifully small and was already full. We knew there was a chance of this, so, even though it was annoying we went to the public one down on the other side of the road, as recommended on the website. What nobody tells you is that it’s a good walk back and a pretty rough path for wheeling cases, not even a dropped kerb as you come out, and then you have to cross a really busy road! There are NO staff at this hotel reception (3&4pm on a weekday and there was never anybody to be seen),it’s just a self check-in at a machine which was painfully slow and unresponsive. Took 10 mins to get a keycard for just 1 room. The QR code on the email won’t scan, so don’t even try and waste your time with that. Oh and you’ll have to work out the luggage lift for yourself, as there’s nobody around to help and the front entrance is up fairly steep stairs (it’s on the left, same lift as wheelchair users have to use). We went to get continental breakfast next morning only to be told it was “fully booked”, even though we could see plenty of empty seats. Ended up in the Booths cafe which was £2 cheaper and actually an awful lot nicer, so Premier lost out there too. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly won’t be returning!
