  Poor Check-in terminal didn't work, as with every other Premier Inn we have visited. Overheated room which could not be cooled due to fixed window. No dinner available in restaurant so we drove a mile or so into town. Waited too long to be seated for breakfast. Barely warm food. Rubbery fried eggs and disgusting solid scrambled eggs. Barely warm coffee. Very poor value for money at £12.95 per head for a full English breakfast. It's worth less than £10 even when hot. Need to borrow some heat from bedrooms.   Stayed for two nights on business at a hotel that states free parking on their website. One week later...... I get a parking fine! The self check-in didn't prompt me to enter a reg, nor did the staff at breakfast. Very frustrating! Furthermore, I tried to get some dinner on the first night, but was given the "we're really busy and we only have one chef" ...... there were 4 tables in use. I'm finding this to be the standard excuse across most Premier Inn hotels now and the excuse is becoming tiresome to be honest. It's even give in the exact same wording in almost every circumstance. The worst thing Premier Inn ever did was try and build and run their own restaurants.

  Booked this premier inn as the other one in Keswick was fully booked. Rooms were ok but not enough staff which highly effected service, no room cleaning unless requested at reception and even then they say use excuses of short staff, meals and drinks off tap were not being served only breakfast and then on our last day the chef wasn't there apparently so food was very limited and was not sufficient. The staff that did work there seemed like they couldn't be bothered- self check in machines so you check yourself in and out and if you press the buzzer for staff to come to reception you have to press it several times for them to respond and you seem like your bothering them from sitting in a nearby room just chatting to each other. Extreme issues here in regards to lack of staff and if they do not address it they will suffer and this hotel will not last. Good points was that there was free parking and the room was comfortable and decent size.

  Well what can I say. Absolutely ruined a stay in the Lake District. Booked an accessible room for a full time wheelchair user as shown on my email confirmation, only to check the night before travel they have changed it to a family room meaning the room is unsuitable and unsafe!! How can they call themselves accessible? When they are literally stopping disabled individuals from enjoying time away like able bodied individuals are able to? This was a planned trip to spend time with family after my mother’s funeral two days before, just make a hard situation even harder. Would not recommend this hotel chain ever!!

  The room was clean and spacious, but there were no towels provided. The chef didn’t turn up to work for a week according to the bar staff, so there was no breakfast which we had paid extra for. We were told our names were on a list to be refunded however we have not received a refund yet. We have tried multiple times to contact Premier Inn and have had no response so far (our stay was 2 months ago).
