  This hotel is clean, well-kept with friendly staff and is very conveniently located. Being so close to Junction 44 of the M6 is great for trips out further afield and yet the immediate environment around the hotel is green and pleasant and surprisingly rural-looking. Moreover, a huge Asda stores is only a short walk away. The hotel's free Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our six-night stay and was fast enough for streaming YouTube videos. The car park is large enough for there always to be easy and convenient parking and we appreciated this being free of any additional charges. We must also mention the fantastic, beautifully-cooked eat-all-one-likes breakfasts. A great stay! Thank you!

  Very handy stop off for the M6. Delays with earier transport meant we needed somewhere for a brief respite

  Service very very slow. Staff never seemed in a rush to serve customers. Waited almost an hour for my food sweet and sour prawns and rice.

  Handy for a stop over on the way up to Scotland. Very near the motorway. But that’s about all you can say about it. Really expensive in peak times.

  Great location for stopping off while travelling up the M6/74 as I was but not for sightseeing as situated in an industrial/commercial estate out of the town. Staff friendly and helpful despite being worked very hard over a busy breakfast shift. Bar and breakfast area reasonably smart, and rooms OK but general building looking tired. Overall would stay here again to break a long journey.
