  I stayed in the standard room, which has no air con, or fridge. Which was not a good choice as the night temperature was very warm and the windows only open a few inches for security reasons. My room rating is therefore bassed on a standard room and NOT a Premier Plus Room. I would therefore recommend up grading to the Premier Plus rooms which have air con and a small fridge if your budget allows. No phone was present in the room ( this is standard across Premier Inns though). So reception would need to be called using your mobile. A plus point is that the room had a bath and shower combined. I have noticed some hotels are switching to shower only now. Breakfast is standard Premier Inn buffet style. This traditional English ingredients were cooked excellent with the sausages being very tasty. I would also say thank you to the staff for cooking poached eggs on request. The Premier Inn breakfast is always excellent value for money. (amended review 17/08/2026).

  Great stay staff were very helpful just off the M6, not too far from CUFC stadium. A healthy walk into city centre or easy to get a bus. Cathedral & Castle well worth the effort

  Had to swap premier inn from Jct44 to this one. Callum sorted it all out including refunding the original booking cost. The team were welcoming and helpful , and the room was as expected.

  Disappointed after visiting for breakfast a few times - Duty manager (Karen) on occasion wouldn’t allow us to sit near television. Only answer was no. Another duty manager, friendly on 3 occasions welcomed us and said sit where you wish on past visits. We went elsewhere today.

  Pretty standard for a Premier Inn hotel, clean, fairly modern hotel. The attached restaurant was ok, quick service, food was hot. The meal deal for guests is pretty good value.
