  This hotel is beautifully located beside the canal and approximately 5 minutes from the shops. I was pleasantly surprised for it to be so quiet on an evening. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The only area I found to be less than immaculate was around the shower panel which had grime on it but nothing too bad. The corridor leading to the room was quite dusty though and had a slight musty smell. Just small changes could make this great hotel better. Was also disappointed to find there was no lemonade available at the bar which was a shame so had to go somewhere else. The bar looked really inviting too and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly. A really enjoyable stay overall.

  This hotel never disappoints. It's a short walk from the train station, a short walk to the city centre and along the way there are pubs and shops aplenty. The room for 1 night was expensive but it is August and it was a busy weekend for local events. I'd recommend a visit to Chester and I'd also recommend this hotel for service, comfort and convenience.

  Man, I walked up to this place & thought what have I just booked? The outside is tired, rundown, not really welcoming... That all changes as soon as you walk through the doors, modern, fresh, lovely, definitely a vibe. Rooms are modern and the food is very nice (shout out to Mark looking after us) It was a pit stop for us off the boat, but a very welcome clean, tidy and decent place to eat 5*

  Room furniture appears a lot more dated than other Premier Inns but are still clean, quiet and comfortable. What lets this Premier Inn down in a big way is that the communal areas appear well worn and tired at best and dirty at worst. For example, steps leading from street to Reception look like they could do with a good scrub. Plus Reception never seems to be manned all that much.with staff busy elsewhere the majority of the time it seemed. However, it is well located and does what it says on the tin, but there are far better Premier Inns than this one.

  We booked a premier plus room but were disappointed with the lack of space having been used to what are usually generously sized rooms at PI. The room was the size of a shoebox, there was nowhere to put our second bag and nowhere to store clothes. ** thank you for your response below asking me to contact customer relations. I did that before I posted the review, they told me to take the issue up directly with the the hotel 🤷 **
