Beds aren't particularly comfy and the air con is hit and miss. The corridors are like ovens, especially the lift lobbies. There is very limited parking so most people park on the main road. The restaurant food is pretty mid tier. Location of hotel is good, next to a retail park and couple of Supermarkets and 15 minutes walk into Cambridge.
The hotel was a typical stay, the room was well furnished and clean as was the bathroom.
But the HUMIDITY was absolutely dreadful, it was so bad that you'd have a itchy throat in only a few hours and by morning you'd have a sore throat, there were no windows in our room that could be opened for ventilation, and turning off the AC causing the low humidity would result in the room turning into an oven.
We ended up leaving the shower running for long periods to try and increase the humidity inside but it was truly unbearable.
The location was okay, a reasonable 15mn - 30mn walk to popular destinations, the locale right next to the hotel was decently shoddy.
The parking at the hotel was extortionate, 3 days was £48.
The hotel staff were nice.
Would probably not return unless necessary.

We are a family of four that have just had a pleasant 2 night stay in this hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room configuration worked well and maximised the space. The location of the hotel is great, with a really interesting 25 minute walk along the river to the centre, seeing cows grazing on the common and lots of people making use of the outside space. The room itself and hotel overall was clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Air con in the room was a blessing and not noisy. A fridge in the room would have been handy but not essential. We were lucky with parking and managed to park in the hotel every time, but it quite a small car park. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
I stayed there as I had no choice - my Housing Association were replacing the front door on my flat, and discovered a cladding which they thought might be asbestos (turned out negative, thank goodness). The two individuals who waited on me on Tuesday night when I got there, and Wednesday night, Thursday night dinners (before I went home) were polite and respectful, the others who work at that Premier Inn most certainly were not, they don’t even look at you and make eye contact and are rude and patronising, I was not amused by their attitude - it is not a hotel in Mayfair, it is a Premier Inn. Not making eye contact (the “new” modern phenomena) is extremely rude and dismissive, ignoring somebody. Confirmed why I detest hotels/B&Bs, and have not stayed in them for many years. The rooms are okay but airless - you can’t open the windows (??) and there is no ventilation.

The hotel has good a location, not too far from the centre which is in a good walking distance. The service staff was without any exception very friendly especially Kajol. The regulator of the room temperature was unfortunally broken but nevertheless the room temperature was quiet alright. There is a variety of food to choose from. The meals for the kids are for free. Overall we can recommend to stay in this hotel.
