  The lady at reception was very helpful and welcoming but unfortunately I forgot her name, the rooms were very clean, would definitely stay here again!

  Comfy beds. Friendly staff. Right next to Willen Lake. Had breakfast at the brewers fayre. Emma was fantastic. My daughter is Coeliac and she helped us and got her a freshly cooked safe meal.

  Unfortunately, our experience at Premier Inn Milton Keynes (Willen Lake) was very disappointing. After checking in with my family, we found visible spots/staining on the bed sheets. I immediately went to reception to report it. A member of staff was sent to inspect the room and confirmed that the bedding was dirty, apologised and offered to change the sheets. While I was at reception, another guest also came down with a similar cleanliness concern, which made me lose confidence in the overall hygiene standard of the hotel. I declined the offer to simply change the sheets because, by that point, I was no longer comfortable having my family stay in a room that had been presented as cleaned and ready for guests despite the dirty bedding. We checked out immediately without using the room and had to find alternative accommodation at short notice. What disappointed me further was my later conversation with Customer Services. I was told that hotel management were disputing my account and focusing on the fact that I had declined the offer to change the sheets, despite hotel staff having inspected the bedding and confirmed the cleanliness issue. I fully understand that problems can happen in any hotel, but cleanliness, how concerns are handled, and how customers are treated afterwards are extremely important. I am currently pursuing a formal complaint and refund, but I wanted to share my experience so other families can make an informed decision.
