It’s always a bit difficult to review a Premier Inn because they are so incredibly consistent across the country. Nothing wildly out of the ordinary stood out, but that’s because their everyday baseline is already a very high standard.
I stayed here for four nights during some of the hottest days of the year, and thank goodness for the air conditioning in the rooms—it was a lifesaver.
First things first for anyone booking: there are two Premier Inns in very close proximity to each other here. Make sure you check which one you’ve actually booked before heading inside (I managed to get the wrong one initially!).
Let's start with the only real downside: the parking. Milton Keynes has some of the most confusing and complicated parking layouts I have ever experienced. The Premier Inn has its own dedicated spaces, but these are limited and come at a premium rate.
The public parking outside is free between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM, and you can easily top it up using the RingGo app if you just need an hour or two in the morning. However, if you plan on leaving your car there all day, definitely try to secure a space in the hotel’s own parking lot if you can.
As for the hotel itself, it’s Premier Inn through and through. I checked in with a staff member at the desk because I prefer the personal touch, but they do have self-service screens available in multiple languages for international travelers.
The rooms feature the classic, familiar styling and were spotlessly clean. As always, the bed was absolutely luxurious and gave a great night's sleep. The room size is exactly what I’ve come to expect from the chain.
The bathroom features a combined bathtub and shower layout; personally, I much prefer a dedicated walk-in shower, but that’s just down to individual preference.
If you want a guaranteed comfortable, clean, and reliable stay in Milton Keynes, this hits the mark perfectly.

Absolutely an amazing day/experience today,we met the manager who runs this particular premier inn called Sam,she is a gem,and a very rare one,she was absolutely welcoming and amazing,we also met Izze and what can I say about this guy,he is full of energy, beautiful attitude towards everything in life, such a pure and great soul and lastly we met Sophie again a woman with so much love and care and so pleasant to talk to.These three people made our day and it's Father's day too today, they are so caring towards anyone, they go out of thier way to help in any situation and we are blessed to have met 3 positive people with massive positive vibes, the energy was on a different level, what a great team to meet, the best Premier Inn we have stayed at.We would like to wish all three all the best in life and God bless and may all your dreams come true. Lovely warm welcome from a lady at the front desk, showed us how to self check in. Room really clean the bath and shower area could do with some attention was a bit dirty, black particles came up from the bath plug hole when the taps were running before shower. Breakfast choice was great and staff were very friendly. The hotel is great location to lots and lots of restaurants and a 8-10 min walk to the shopping centre which was very big. Parking was only £7.90 for 24 hours. Will definitely be coming back
Emily, Angie and the rest of the team make this one of, if not the, best Premier Inns in the country. It is always a pleasure to stay at a clean, friendly and welcoming hotel with well cooked food and a great atmosphere.
They all deserve a rise and could teach those in other location how to do it properly.
Look forward to my next stay.

We've stayed at many Premier inns all over the UK. This one is no different.
Clean and comfortable but terrible Internet signal, ( even the paid version) bar and restaurant generally empty, probably because there is a Weatherspoons over the road. Friendly staff but generally under staffed not just here but at many Premier inns. Great location for The theatre and Milton Keynes Central.
