  Overall, we had a great stay. The room was absolutely fantastic – brand new, spotless, and finished to a very high standard. The service was also excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The only thing that let the experience down was that building works were being carried out during our stay. While this is clearly the reason the rooms are being upgraded and looking so good, there was unfortunately a very unpleasant smell in the reception area when we arrived, which created a poor first impression. There was also some noise from the contractors, particularly in the morning, and on a few occasions workers were sitting just outside the communal areas talking loudly (shouting) on their phones. I did receive an email advising me about the ongoing works, which I appreciated. However, this was only sent after I had already booked and paid for the stay. I feel this information would have been more helpful if it had been made clear before the booking was completed, allowing guests to make a fully informed decision. Despite these issues, the quality of the room and the service made for an enjoyable stay overall.

  Good all round Premier inn, smaller rooms have just a small shower (very small space inside) other than that, everything you expect from a premier inn

  The entrance is a bit weird as you have enter almost from the opposite of the main road. There are no child friendly parking on the site. The main door of the hotel is a designated smoking area that suffocates while entering the hotel. Booked a family quadruple room that is just average and adjacent to the entrance causing a lot of disturbance in the night for kids/baby.
