  Balenciaga at South Coast Plaza consistently draws the younger wave of luxury buyers we see entering the OC real estate market — tech founders, finance professionals in their thirties, and design-conscious clients who treat fashion as seriously as they treat architecture. I've stopped in with several of these clients and the experience never disappoints. The oversized silhouettes and statement sneakers draw real enthusiasm, and the team handles the clientele with appropriate energy. As a broker trying to understand what motivates buyers in each demographic, observing how they engage with brands like this is genuinely valuable. A well-run boutique in a world-class retail setting.

  I had a very disappointing experience at this store due to the behavior of a sales representative. While someone in my party was looking at shoes, the representative was disrespectful and made assumptions about us, including assuming we didn’t need a specific size—without even asking. It was clear that judgments were being made based on appearances. Not looking like the “typical rich customer” does not give anyone the right to assume or discriminate against me or anyone in my family. The implication that we could not afford the products was offensive and unprofessional. Customer service should be based on respect, not stereotypes. I hope management addresses this behavior so others do not have a similar experience.
