Yesterday, August 10th, my partner and I visited the Fendi store with the intention of possibly purchasing a few card holders. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived.
We had to open the store door ourselves, and the sales associate assigned to us, a man with salt-and-pepper hair, smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Frankly, this was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional, especially for a luxury store — or really any customer-facing environment. The smell was so strong that when he came close to us, my partner and I almost started coughing.
The overall experience felt far below what I would expect from a brand like Fendi, particularly when part of shopping at this price point is supposed to be the level of service, presentation, and attention to the customer.
