I'm generally a big fan of vacheron's designs for small wrists like mine. But this store in particular earned a review. For the epitome of a no-pressure experience, go see Craig.
This was a rather bizarre experience. My wife and I visited this boutique on September 4th during our 10 day trip of the UK with the intention of inquiring about the newly announced Cardinal Points collection, specifically the green dial variant. The visit started well enough. The salesman let us in, and we engaged in a bit of small talk about where we were from and what brought us to Edinburgh. Just a few minutes into this conversation, another would-be client came into the boutique. It was as if my wife and I had completely disappeared. Our salesman sat down with the other client, engaged, immediately inquired about what he wanted to see, and began presenting a number of alternatives. He didn’t so much as excuse himself with us and never inquired what we might be interested in. We stool awkwardly where we were when this other guy walked in wondering what had just happened.
Fortunately, we were able to ascertain the piece of interest was unavailable by eavesdropping on their conversation, and left without any further acknowledgement from the salesman. The boutique did, however, have a “wider” selection of pieces on display than Watches of Switzerland or the Vacheron Boutique in London, so I guess that was a positive. We were actually able to see some of the offerings the brand purports to sell. We were, however, very disappointed at being ghosted by the salesman shortly after we entered the boutique. In all, it was not a positive experience or productive use of our time on holiday.
Advice to anyone considering a visit. Call ahead and find out if they have what you want to see so as not to waste your time with chit chat over “no availability and no visibility.”
As seems to be customary with less than favorable reviews, I anticipate a response from the boutique may inevitably show up below. Do not be fooled. This is a disingenuous attempt at public relations and attempting to maintain a positive brand image. What I have described is exactly how our visit played out.

Can’t say enough good things about Joe at the Vacheron Constantin boutique in Edinburgh! He’s genuinely enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable about the watches, and made the whole experience exceptional. I loved trying on some amazing pieces as well as picking up my dream watch. Without doubt, the best boutique experience I’ve had, and much better than some others I could mention!
If you’re visiting the Edinburgh boutique, do yourself a favour and ask for Joe. A total gem.

I highly recommend this Vacheron Constantin boutique. I had the pleasure of trying on the magnificent American 1921 in rose gold. The service provided by Mr. Craig Banks was simply impeccable—attentive, professional, and exceptionally courteous. His approach and valuable advice have truly inspired me to one day acquire this true icon of watchmaking.
