We arrived early the day of our first night. We were able to check in (our rooms were ready at 10 am!) and get our wristbands for Noah's Ark for the duration of our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel has a ton of kids so it's pretty loud during breakfast but we didn't hear any noise near our room and we were right near the indoor pool. The indoor pool area wasn't the best but the outdoor pool area and hot tub were fantastic for winding down after our adventures. Decent breakfast options- enough to get everyone fed and off for the day. Definitely worth the price for the 2 night stay and Noah's Ark tickets.

I stayed here recently and had a mixed experience. Let's start with the positives: the location of the hotel is excellent, very convenient for getting around. Additionally, getting a free pass to Noah's Ark Waterpark was a fantastic perk that we really enjoyed.
Unfortunately, the condition of the room itself was disappointing. It wasn't completely clean when we arrived, and many things felt very old and outdated. The bathroom, in particular, was in poor condition. As you can see from the photos I've attached, the ceiling is neglected, showing significant water damage, peeling paint, and mold. It didn't feel very sanitary.
Breakfast was also a weak point. It wasn't very good, and there was absolutely no choice—very limited options.
Overall, while the free water park passes and location are great, the lack of cleanliness and the rundown state of the rooms, especially the bathroom ceiling, are significant drawbacks. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless the free park tickets are your top priority.
We had a very enjoyable experience here at the Best Western. Our family of five had a room with a separate King room and the larger living space with two queen beds. It was very nice to have the extra space. It was nice to have the bathroom with a sink as well as another sink and mirror on the outside of the bathroom. We definitely enjoyed the outdoor pool and grilling area. We were able to grill each night and enjoy the pool area. Our family appreciated the hot breakfast however the 9:30 a.m. cut off was a bit early for us. By far the best part about staying here was receiving four free Noah's Ark admissions and the discounted rate for a fifth member to Noah's Ark good for the entire length of our stay. This is a great value!! The rooms are large and clean with a refrigerator and microwave. We would definitely come back!

I woke up shortly before 5:00 a.m. absolutely ravenous, so I stepped out to the vending machine to grab a snack. When I returned to my room, my key card suddenly wouldn’t open the door.
I figured, “This is fine. I’ll just go down to the front desk.” Unfortunately, nobody was there. I called the front desk number and used the call button, but got no response. I spoke with the ladies preparing breakfast, who had no idea where the front desk staff were. To their credit, they went above and beyond trying to help, checking multiple locations to find someone. Unfortunately, they had no luck either.
I ended up waiting until approximately 6:15 a.m., when Ihana (I’m not sure of the correct spelling) finally returned to work. By that point, I had been locked out of my room for roughly an hour and a half and was understandably pretty frustrated. I explained what had happened and how long I had been waiting, but received no apology. She told me the key-card system was down and offered to let me use her card, as long as I promised to return it immediately after getting into my room.
I asked if she could simply walk up with me and let me into my room, which seemed like a reasonable request given that the front desk had been unattended for the previous 90 minutes. She responded with a heavy sigh and came upstairs, but continued watching a show on her phone the entire time. I explained that I was extremely unhappy with how the morning had gone, and her response was essentially a shrug.
The technical problem itself is understandable. Systems fail. What is not understandable is having nobody available at the front desk for that long, having no apparent backup procedure, and then showing virtually no concern for a guest who has been locked out of their room for 90 minutes.
The breakfast staff were wonderful and genuinely tried to help, and I appreciate their efforts. Unfortunately, the front-desk experience completely overshadowed that kindness.
I made sure to get the employee’s name and the time, as I understand management was coming in that morning. After this experience, however, I have no intention of staying here again. Horrible service and an unacceptable way to treat a guest.

🛑 STOP ✋🏻
Read my review!
If you do, you will NOT have to read anyone else’s reviews and you will better understand why there are some people that don’t give a five star ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
My review is to help better explain some of the other reviews and what it’s really like.
We Stayed there for two days first week in August about 10 days ago. I stayed there with my son and his two friends. we Stayed in room 390 over overlooking the pool. Obviously, you stay two days you get four free passes to Noah’s Ark, which is an excellent deal. All of the staff there is very friendly and very helpful from JEAN the general manager and Angel the manager. They both went above and beyond in my opinion the call of duty to make our stay as pleasant and enjoy enjoyable as possible. Now I believe we had an upgraded room overlooking the pool as we stay there about once a year sometimes every other year and typically just get the regular rooms which are perfectly fine. You can’t beat the price, you just can’t!
Google claims it’s a two star hotel but I’m giving it five stars because of my experience.
Now you’re gonna see some of the other reviews where people say something was dirty or something wasn’t cleaned or blah blah blah blah blah but you gotta keep in mind 1.5 million people visit this little area once a year they pack in and they leave and you have the staff running around more than enough staff nonstop working overworked underpaid, working Working working their butts off doing their best And going above and beyondso it really irks me when I see some of the rude comments Which is compelled me to leave my comment…
I rarely comment…
Anybody leaving one star or two or three in my opinion has zero reason to FurthermoreI think that’s where most of the complaints come from just people being overly picky and fussy.
((( I can also be one of those people Because I am picky, and I noticed things, however,I’m also practical w realistic Expectations)))
They’re not claiming to be a five star hotel and they’re not charging $500 a night not even 400. Not even 300. If you look at the prices right now it’s less than 100 bucks and you get tickets to Noah’s Ark I mean where else in America can you go and ,,,, You say where I’m going with that 😏
It’s Actually, abeautiful hotel inside and out & It’s very clean very tidy very neat.. Sure, there may be different times of the day when there’s different rush hours where people are rushing to breakfast or rushing for this or rushing for that and they have staff everywhere cleaning up so you can only do so much and I’ve been to hotels and motels all over the country and all over our planet 🌎 And I have never met people that go above and beyond so much like JEAN the general manager and Angel the manager and just the regular front staff Than this hotel. 🏨 They go above and beyond I can’t express that enough…
Like I said, it kind of irks me when I see the negative comments or feedback. I think people should go and stay at Mount Olympus and a couple of the other three and four star hotels and then come back and stay at the best Western Ambassador there & I think those same people leaving, rude, nasty comments would🤐🤐it I guarantee…
Yes! If you wanna see or meet, rude employee, staff or see really messy hotels, and motels go to Mount Olympus or some of the other places in the city of Wisconsin Dells or the surrounding area. Most places are understaffed and overpriced and charge for everything and they’re not helpful. They’re not polite. But as many times as I’ve gone to Wisconsin, Dells and like I said, I’ve been to all the other hotels. There’s a reason why year after year after year after year after year after year I keep coming back to the best Western ambassador. It’s because you just can’t beat it (overall)
If you read this whole message and you made it to the end, you deserve a ribbon or a trophy😂 🏆 There you go 😏
We had an awesome stay and we’ll see you ALL
again next year. 🙏🏼 💖😇
