All was great, good breakfast, clean room, but cable/tv kind of sucked, channel and what was on did not match, you just kind of have to surf and hope you hit something you want to watch.

Older hotel with musty smell. The room i reserved was near an elevator that didn't work very well and stayed stuck shut for several minutes. I am somewhat disabled and need an elevator. We reported issue with front desk. Man at front desk moved us to another room close to working elevator. My husband and front desk person communicated about getting a discount but when I checked my credit card receipt it appears I ended up getting charged an extra $100. Coffee pot in room didn't work but we did get a new one, thank you for that. Windows in room were hard to open. Husband was able to pry it open. We were wanting to enjoy the free breakfast but we were put so far away we couldn't walk it.
Great hotel. Very big rooms. Loved the king sized bed. I needed an ADA room and they were very helpful. And free breakfast from 6am til 10am. Awesome place to stay.

3 days with no WiFi is crazy no explanation no fix. Cmon best western explain why this is happening.

If there is a negative scale, I wouldn’t hesitate to rate Best Western there.
I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel during an emergency. On my way from Canada to the U.S., my car broke down and had to be towed, so I called the hotel to update my reservation location to Bellingham, where I was stranded.
I was told that because the booking was made through Expedia, only Expedia could make the change. Expedia was actually very helpful and understanding, and they tried to contact the hotel on my behalf to explain the emergency. However, the hotel did not respond for about 20 minutes, even though they had just been on the phone a minute earlier. When I tried calling again, there was no answer. Eventually, they simply said, “We can’t do anything,” even after I explained the full situation.
Their response was shocking, especially after I explained that my car was not working and that I was stranded in Bellingham. I was very disappointed by the lack of flexibility, communication, and compassion during a genuine emergency. I would not recommend this place to anyone who may need even a small change to their reservation in an urgent situation.
