As a longterm BW guest, I wasn't thrilled with the performance of one staff member here:
Yulia was passive aggressive (leaning towards aggressive), had difficulty solving my simple requests, and was not welcoming or kind.
Thankfully another staff member stepped in to help- I wish I'd gotten her name to thank her.
Ian was also terrific, and able to resolve my concerns swiftly and with kindness.
Breakfast was great! Fresh cut fruit, eggs, sausage, and lots of little extras that made the experience lovely.
The rooms were eh- Not super clean, and sparsely furnished.
I've had the option to stay here again, but am steering clear due to the unpleasant interaction with Yulia.
One of the best continental breakfast I’ve seen. The presentation is top notch. Fresh fruit fresh food. Overall I would stay again. Good job Best Western now call the team and let them know to keep up the good work. Acknowledging your teams based off reviews should happen daily.
Convenient, but quiet location off the freeway in Lacey. Clean rooms with bathroom amenities supplied. Great citrus scent and quality. Always a friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast...a notch above other Best Western Plus hotels. This is one of our favorite locations. Close the restaurants, shopping and a casino. The manager is the absolute sweetest lady and always smiling.

Clean and friendly hotel with a fair price. My only complaint is the queen bed we stayed in seemed small but breakfast was great and the pool area was clean
I’ll lead with the most ridiculous part: the "Spoon Embargo." I asked the front desk for a plastic spoon at night and was told it was against policy to give them out. I’m not sure why a plastic spoon is a restricted item after 9:00 PM . . . especially since they’re provided during breakfast, but I ended up having to eat my yogurt with a fork from the Taco Bell across the parking lot like a total weirdo.
The rest of the stay was just as frustrating. The fridge in my room was apparently set to "Arctic" since it ran constantly and froze all of my groceries solid, even on the warmest setting. I reported it immediately, but maintenance didn't show up until hours later when I was already gone.
When I brought the loss up to the front desk, they basically just shrugged and said they’d "pass the feedback along" without offering any actual help or a credit for the ruined items. Plus, the breakfast bar was already being torn down well before the actual closing time since they decided to be equally stingy with their plain oatmeal. When I checked in the morning whether the utensil policy was legit, I was told that the owner personally implemented it.
I’m a pretty low-maintenance traveler, but this stay was just a series of small frustrations that added up. Definitely not the "Plus" experience I was expecting for the price.
