Check in was smooth check out was even better I stayed 3 nights and I just wanted to say that the overnight staff was awesome she helped up take our luggage to our room and she checked in on us just to make sure we felt self my sister and I came down for a funeral and we thought the area was a little sketchy Janae made us feel right at home she was kind and courteous she is a keeper
We returned here to see staff that are like family. The staff at Sands Inn are exceptional and very real. They care and make you feel at home. I enjoy visiting with Kristina and Mrs. Patty at breakfast. They run a clean kitchen and are attentive to guests needs. Kristina always gives me great ideas for places to visit in town. I appreciate her friendship. Van at the front desk is kind and helps you get any accommodation needed, she wanted to be sure I could get a late checkout if needed so I could spend more time with my daughter. Alashia was also helpful. I am hoping I get her name right, Carla, the day attendant is hospitality! She help me with accommodations I didn’t know I could have. She solved a coffee dilemma for us. There is coffee and water in the lobby as well and she makes time for each person! Her staff are important to her and she respects them. Shannon, in housekeeping, is so kind and hard working. I enjoyed visiting with her as well. Overall they are committed to hospitality here.
Nice beach directly behind the hotel. Pet friendly on the 1st floor. Outside pool and a deck with tables chairs and BBQ stands. Full morning breakfast
Best bargain for oceanfront! If your purpose of your trip is solely to sit on the beach then you’ve come to the right spot. Nice hotel room & lovely staff! I had an oceanfront room with a lil kitchen and it was perfect for me and my 2 kiddos. We had breakfast every day and I made meals in the room. Beach was only a few steps away! Beware - sometimes during busy season they run out of pots and pans for the rooms with kitchens. BYO if you can or call ahead to see how busy they’ll be. We will be coming back again for sure.
Quite frankly everyone I have met here is extremely professional kind courteous incredibly accommodating. I am somebody with health issues that often affect my thought processes causing me at times to get confused & ask some of the same questions more than one time. This staff is made up of people who take that extra time without ever making me feel like it's a burden to repeat themselves to me. I'm sure I haven't met everyone & because of my health conditions it can take me a while to remember names..yet I've asked some of the staff to remind me until I finally get it right, because I want to address them with the respect they deserve & the same courtesy & cheerful greetings I receive from them. So in challenging my own mind I will say from the GM Kailyn, her front desk staff that have assisted me Van, Alaijah & Tina,
The head of housekeeping Misty & her staff Shannon, Nicole, Tynia & all of their co-associates in housekeeping, the property maintenance team Stanley, Quam & James and as I previously mentioned Miss Paulette and Miss Kristina in the breakfast room are All amazing Ambassadors representing the Best Western Plus Holiday Sands brand!!! Both the Ownership Franchisees & BW Corporate should be grateful & proud to have them as the personalities & Frontline faces of this establishment.
The property is nice there are so many amenities even though it's still cold outside but a brick-and-mortar building alone doesn't create the guest experience or make it such a desirable place to stay for whatever reason someone may find their way here. It's the wonderful people that do that❣️ They're hospitality champions 🏆& I truly thank them all ❣️
