  Last minute change of plans had us in Padre a day early. Best Western had last minute availability, room was clean and staff were friendly.

  i was new there, pulling one of the bag carts from the lobby and when i was struggling to keep the door open, i asked the front desk lady if she could help me keep the door open… instead she just told me “you need to push down to unlock the break”. i told her i know that (how else would i have gotten it to the door…) and that im asking her AGAIN to help keep open the door for me because the cart is about more than half my size/height and the door is pretty heavy with your non dominant hand while simultaneously trying to pull/push a cart with breaks on it out the door. instead she just watched me struggle until i gave up and struggled to drag it out on my own. 😐 not to mention, theres no hand soap to wash your hands in the bathroom and our room was insanely humid all night.

  Rude staff led by a general manager that is covering up black mold with a painting in my room.

  Front desk lady was courteous and friendly when we arrived. Today was a different vibe, hence the change in review.
