  Room was clean and honestly nothing special for the price but what really made my stay worth it, was the sweet goth girl working the front desk! She gave me great great suggestions for food and music in the area and that made my entire trip. I didn’t catch her name but she made a friend and hope she’s still here on my next visit back.

  I do not recommend staying at the Best Western in Palo Alto. During my first night, I found two cockroaches in my room. The second one actually climbed onto my bed while I was lying down. I requested a new room, but when I entered the second room, I immediately saw an even larger cockroach. I then asked for a third room, and the front desk employee responded with: “So you just want to keep moving from room to room until you don’t find cockroaches?” At that point it was already around midnight, so I asked him to please give me one last room and told him that if I found anything else, I would just stay there anyway because it was too late to keep dealing with the situation. In the third room, I found two small cockroaches in the bathroom. I killed them and tried to sleep. The next morning, I checked out and moved to a different hotel. This was a very unpleasant experience, both because of the cleanliness issues and the way the situation was handled by the staff.
