  POOL IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON! ITS 94° in Texas! I posted this for other families who might be mislead by their website. Rooms are decent, but smell funny.

  I honestly don’t even have words for how bad this place was. They charge extra for pets, yet put us in a room that smelled strongly like urine. The white towels had stains, the bedding had holes in it, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. It was honestly disgusting, and I can’t believe I paid to stay here. On top of that, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes to check in because of “technical difficulties.” If it hadn’t been late at night and after driving since 5 a.m., we would have just driven the extra 30 minutes and stayed somewhere else.

  Our room was large and close to back door for airing out the dog. Swimming pool closed. The best breakfast served so far on our trip, with fresh eggs and bacon, They accept dogs, Very friendly staff.

  Nothing disappointing here, only satisfaction. Very clean, friendly, comfortable, typical but well maintained breakfast.

  This location is on the edge of town separated by a 2 lane highway. I actually passed it the first time because I didn't notice it and thought I was looking at a closed down location. It was a little inconvenient having to flip a u-turn every time I went back. There's tons of parking for large trucks and vehicles with trailers. I think I even saw an RV hookup sign. The building and location are pretty run down, the staff were mostly friendly, and the room wss clean, bright and large. All rooms enter from the interior which made it feel safe. The ice machine on the first floor would dispense but was slightly melted/watery each time. There were 2 vending machines but they were both empty. I'm not sure if there's a guest laundry because I didn't see one nor did I need it. I only made it to breakfast once and it wasn't anything to write home about. It was a typical continental breakfast with a small hot food bar, stuff to toast, cereal and some grab and go danishes/muffins. I can only comment on the bacon which was mediocre. The room itself was clean, large and bright. I aopreciated that the TV had a pull out and tilt mount with a great selection of channels. The shower always had hot water and excellent water pressure!! The pool was still closed for the season so check if it's open before you go. All in all it was a decent stay.
