  It's a really good place to stay only problem I had was the AC units the lake water on the floor and instead of putting a new unit in they replaced it with another unit and that unit leaked as well and eventually they ended up putting a new AC unit in and I didn't have any problems but fortunately I ended up finding another place to stay. Overall the place was great they did what they could do to fix the problem and yes I would recommend that place even though they are in the middle of remodeling hopefully they get the place up to par where it needs to be other than that it was an enjoyable place to be at the time.

  Huge disappointment as I’m a big Best Western fan, and I left with a refund. The only upside to stopping here was the friendly guy at the desk. I asked for a downstairs room and he quickly handled that. Programmed my keys, and off I went. This property is a mess. The room rate was cheap, but still. Trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The empty pool really draws your attention. I finally got to my room to find that neither key would open the door. After a quick hike I was back with fresh keys. Once inside, I was smacked by the overwhelming odor of some damn bad cooking. There was no fresh air to be found inside the unit. I returned to the office and promptly got another room assigned. Two sets of keys later, I had to get the office guy to let me into the room so I could retrieve my belongings and leave. The broken door handle would only work for him. I only left the room to get ice (the machine was dead) and returned to be locked out. I promptly received a refund and went elsewhere for the night. He did try, but could not overcome the negatives.

  If I could leave zero stars I would. I booked a week reservation due to the only hotel having availability at the time and it was a work related trip. Even after finding bedbugs, they are still refusing to refund. It is almost a week later and I still have yet so we receive a refund. Since I booked through Priceline, I have to go through Priceline and they are refusing to contact them in regarding this.

  Our room was filthy. The room was dated and felt filthy, the smoke/fire alarm was set on a table rather than hanging on the wall by the door. The towel bar was detached and set off to the side with screws sticking out. Terribly unsafe hotel for my family. The continental breakfast was subpar. The lock on our door was broken so we needed staff to use the master key to let us in each time. The staff was rude and unhelpful.
