  I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and will continue to choose it whenever I'm in the area. The staff consistently provides outstanding customer service, and the front desk always greets me with a warm welcome when I walk through the door. The TV and internet works great. The front lounge is clean and comfortable. The rooms and the entire property are exceptionally clean and well maintained. The shower has phenomenal water pressure (always a plus!), and the breakfast is much better than the typical hotel fare with plenty of great options. The pool, hot tub, and fitness center are always clean, well cared for, and fully stocked with towels. It's obvious that the owners and staff take pride in this property, and it shows in every aspect of the guest experience. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

  I booked a stay at this hotel and immediately noticed that it is an older property in need of renovation. The staff was limited, and when I arrived, the receptionist ignored me while talking on the phone, highlighting the lack of sufficient personnel. Since I have a disability, my wife booked what we thought was an accessible room. However, when I inquired about it, the front desk agent became defensive. We arrived early and paid a $40 early check-in fee. Once we entered the room, we found it cramped and dirty, which led us to decide to check out. The only response from the agent was that we would have to pay a cancellation fee. There was no inquiry about why we were checking out or any offers to assist us. It felt as though the hotel was more focused on collecting money than ensuring customer satisfaction. To make matters worse, they kept our early check-in fee even though we never stayed in the room. I have stayed at Best Western hotels before, and I have never received this type of treatment. If you are considering booking at the Best Western Plus in Mansfield, Texas, be cautious about checking the room beforehand and avoid paying any upfront fees. If you express any concerns, you might be met with indifference or even told not to call again. Overall, my experience was terrible. On a positive note, I went to the Hampton Inn afterward, where we received a much warmer welcome and better service.
