  We were on the other side. Halls weren't air conditioned on that side and seemed pretty out of date. The side where you check-in seems much nicer and the halls were nice and cool. When it's 103 outside, the AC is greatly appreciated in all indoor places. Though we didn't swim, the pool area was intriguing. We might try again and stay on the side where check in is to see if it's better.

  This hotel needs to be demolished. It's old, musty, poorly maintained and any improvements done would be lipstick on a pig at this point.

  I've stayed here several times let me be clear it's not the best but they do the best they can. Jay and Melissa are my go to people. Both are very nice and make my stay great. The location is perfect if you're visiting to go to Texas Tech. Everything is close in proximity. Thank you Jay and Melissa! I appreciate all that you do while I'm there!

  Couldn't ask for cleaner room or nicer people. Had a handicap accessible room and it was great. Highly recommend.

  The room where I was staying had a big stain in the ceiling I called Expedia about the situation and front office got mad they called saying what could Expedia do if I call. Breakfast it was horrible the waffle mix had a lot of water in it when you went to cook it, it gets stuck and you could only take it out in pieces the scrabble eggs have to be yellow there eggs are light yellow when you go get a plate there all separated I felt that was rude . Customer service people are very rude as well they ask you when you first arrive they say what do you want, rooms are in very bad shape. Swimming pool is dirty all the time I regret it staying there.
