  Do not stay here with your family! If I could give no stars I would. The hotel is very dirty, humid and hot. It smells awful. I reported the cooling issue to the person at the front desk and she said, "well do you want a fan"...No empathy that we were there with a child and it's over 100 degrees outside. My son wanted to go sleep in the car, that's how bad it was. The handles in the bathroom were different on the front vs back. Mold lined the ceilings of the bathroom. The leg of the table was broken... Just awful. Outside wasn't better, beer cans on the ground and the trash was overflowing the trash can.. At 11am!

  I booked a trip a month ago through Expedia to stay last weekend. I was driving in from Houston so I was monitoring the weather in Boerne. The town received so much rain they had to declare a disaster. As someone who understands Texas disasters, you shouldn’t drive towards one. I reached out twice to staff at the hotel (the day before the severe weather and the day of) to ensure they would allow Expedia to change the reservation for a date that was literally two weeks later, and both staff members said that wouldn’t be an issue. The hotel denied the request to change the reservation. Secondly, the person I spoke to today said I checked in a day late, which never happened. After denying that I checked in, I told that reservations can’t be changed because the room was prepaid and pricing fluctuates… so why not just apply a credit to someone who still wants to visit? And as I scrolled down the reviews I’m seeing people were denied rooms?! The whole point of why I didn’t show up was to provide shelter for those who NEEDED it.

  Waited patiently for the clerk to get there and once she saw us she instantly gave us attitude. Felt a racism vibe off her. Asked for availability and she didn’t even check and denied us. Checked online and there were plenty of rooms available. We walked out and sent another family member to see if the situation would be the same. Sure enough she shut her down and didn’t want to check either.
