    I rarely leave reviews, but I felt this experience should be shared. I booked two rooms at GLo Best Western in Nashville. From the beginning, one of the rooms had a noticeable odor. While that was disappointing, what happened the next morning was much worse. I had an important doctor’s appointment and needed to shower and brush my teeth before leaving. When I woke up, the water was completely shut off throughout the entire hotel. No one had notified us beforehand, and when I called the front desk, I found out only after the fact. I spoke with the manager and explained my situation. I wasn’t looking for anything unreasonable I simply hoped they would offer some type of accommodation or make an effort to make things right. Unfortunately, nothing was offered. As a result, I had to leave for my doctor’s appointment without showering or brushing my teeth, which was embarrassing and unacceptable for a hotel stay. When I returned, I packed my belongings and decided to leave early because the experience had been so disappointing. I requested a refund for the unused night of my stay, but I was told it was too late because it was past checkout time. I do want to mention that the staff members I interacted with were polite and friendly. However, there was very little understanding or willingness from management to resolve the situation or show any concern for the inconvenience caused. Unexpected maintenance issues can happen at any hotel, but communication, empathy, and customer service are what make the difference. Unfortunately, those were missing during my stay, and because of that, I can’t recommend this hotel based on my experience. Will be taking my money elsewhere for now on.

    Well priced. Airport shuttle and continental breakfast included. Quiet neighbourhood and nicely landscaped to dampen traffic noise. Donut shop, dollar store, liquor store and Mexican restaurant all in short walking distance. Large and clean room. Would stay again.

    Overall, a very good experience at GLO. Staff was very responsive and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked and hot items were hot. Good options and better than most of these type of breakfasts. The room was very clean. This is a personal preference but it just felt a little sterile in its modern styling for my taste. But that’s not a downfall of the hotel. The room is basic but nice and overall it was a great value and experience for our needs.

    The staff during our 3-day stay was good. My main complaint was the noise levels and the floors in the rooms. It looks like they took out the carpet and replaced it with some crappy peel and stick tiles... REALLY CHEAP!!! Everything else in the room was nice and they ruined it with their crappy flooring. They did have one area rug carpet under the bed that extended out about 2 ft. though. The noise level was super high when inside the room, and got woken up several times with drunkards yelling in the hallway from 1-3:30am one night. Also, the dang alarm clocks going off in both of the rooms I tried out was super anoying. We will not be staying here again.

    I travel for work and stayed at this location for 1 night. I typically stay IHG but thought Glo looked modern/updated and the price was competitive - also no parking fees and they do offer free breakfast but I didn’t partake. PROs: staff was friendly and I liked the room layout a lot - maybe on the small side but I don’t see the point in a huge room. Maybe not the best desk for workspace but the bed was very comfortable, the dual shades a plus, and the shower was great. There were a few irksome things like only one trash can had a bag in it, only one pant hanger in the closet space, nowhere to hang belongings, and room was very warm w/ temp set in upper 70s upon check in, but those things didn’t affect my overall stay. CONs: DIRTY. I’ve never been so glad that I bring my own disinfecting wipes. The unvacuumed hallway carpets should’ve been a sign but I hoped for the best and was sorely disappointed. Almost every surface was dirty or had a mystery stain/smear: fridge, windows, mirror, walls, doors, chairs, hair in the sink, shower, and linens - this plus a coating of settled dust in some areas led me to believe a thorough cleaning does not take place. I would consider staying again if I had limited options but would hope they could raise the cleanliness standard.
