    The hotel has a nice downstairs area, but that's about the only positive. It's overpriced, has a strange smell throughout, and the customer service was terrible. To make matters worse, when I raised my concerns, they only offered a 30% refund, which didn't come close to making up for the experience. It felt like they cared more about making money than taking care of their guests.

    We stayed lastnight, when we got there I noticed the bathtub was dirty with stains and mold around it, the toilet had dried urine spots on the side of it and the large mirror right outside the bathroom had mascara on it. The beds were big but very very firm, and the a/c in room 414 constantly sounded like it had rocks in it when it would cycle on. BEWARE they charge $20 for parking and don’t let you know that until you see the receipt the next day.

    I don’t usually stay at Best Western, but a last minute stop and this hotel was available. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is really pretty nice. The rooms are clean, cool and comfortable, the lobby inviting. The complimentary breakfast includes a made to order omelet bar, (so much better than the canned gags you get with these breakfasts usually), and can I just say, the complimentary massage chairs, are you kidding me! I need one for home! The staff, especially the Owner/Manager (not sure which he is) I don’t think sleeps! He’s always here and very kind and helpful. The location is walkable to restaurants and other sites. The pool is large, clean and nice. All of it overall an excellent stay. If and when I return to Nashville, I’ll definitely stay here.

    Front Desk: For the price, it is a decent hotel to stay in especially if you do not want to splurge as your goal is to have a good place to crash at the end of the day. When we arrived and given our room, we found the room musty, a bug was crawling on the floor which my husband crushed to it's death, and the bed skirt has a stain that seems to be a puke stain. We went back to the front desk to ask for another room and were given another one. Not wanting to haul out luggage again and be disappointed, my husband went to the room while I waited at the front desk, but when the elevator open, there was a barking dog minus its human greeting him. He shooed it away and ran down the hall but in a split second the vicious thing back so my husband never got to the new room to check. He went back down to where I was waiting for him by the front desk. He reported the incident and we were given another room key to check out. Roki, (sp?) who was at front desk that evening, took note of the description of the dog and he said he will find out who the owners are. He said he will also check on housekeeping in the morning about the 1st room's state. We appreciate this as a guest when front desk would make things right. Room: This time the room is good. It did not smelled, it was at perfect room temperature, and clean. We had a long day from traveling from WA and touring as we landed that it was nice to be crashing on a comfortable bed with very soft pillows and comfy sheets and comforter. Only ding I probably will give our room is the coffeemaker. There seem to be a film of calcified stuff clinging to the water receptacle (see picture) and is not dispensing water well. Breakfast: It was decent. They server a variety of cereals, had pancakes (you make your own), selection of bread, scrambled eggs and sausage patties (which containers were constantly filled), apples, bananas, a variety of yogurt, variety of single-serving jellies, a toasting machine, and instant oatmeal packets with a variety of toppings. Only thing I dis not like was their coffee - it was strong but really difficult to get the best combination of coffee, cream and sugar. As a guest, I appreciate that 30 minutes before they closed the doors to the breakfast buffet, someone announced "We will be closing the breakfast buffet in 30 minutes. Please take as much as you wish and we thank you all for being here. Have a nice day." Overall: Lobby is big with enough seating, guest have access to strong internet (downside, unsecured - more like the public wifi at coffee shops), they have a vending machine if you want something to eat in the middle of the night, ample, comfortable seating at dinning area, and decently clean. Like I said, for the price we paid ($188 for 2 nights stay), this is a decent hotel and will stay again here if we happen to be in Nashville again. We recommend it despite the hiccups as they did their best to address our concerns.

    We chose this hotel for the location/price balance and the good reviews. Overall, we give this hotel high marks. We had two rooms, and both were comfortable and decorated to fit the Music Row theme well. Air conditioning was exceptionally effective. Shower was clean with good water pressure and hot water. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Towels were changed daily. My room also included ample storage space, a small couch, desk, portable table, safe, coffee, microwave, and fridge. The coffee was good, but I sure wish hotels would realize those little plastic wrapped packs of pink sweetener, powdered creamer, and sugar are truly awful. The lobby had a nice little pantry with basic food items and necessities, plus seating areas and massage chairs. There is a small business center and a phone charging station. Breakfast was included, and was one of the best I've had at a hotel of this price range. Omelette station in addition to waffles and pancakes, hot meats and cold yogurts, fruits, breads, juices, coffee, milk, water... very nice. We sat in the lobby to work for a few hours, and I wish they did not block off the breakfast area in the afternoon - those tables had access to electrical outlets, while the available tables did not. But, at least I felt assured the breakfast area was clean. The breakfast staff did an exceptional job of not only cleaning, but also accommodating guests. Our only complaint is the less than generous cancelation policy. We gave 24 hours notice that we would have to check out one night early due to an issue unrelated to the hotel, but after two front desk agents had a conversation in front of us in another language, we were told 48 hours notice was required. And, even though we had checked in the night before, the front desk agent said "If only you would have told us yesterday." If only we had known, we would have. I understand the burden of lost revenue, and I also feel top tier loyalty members should have some leeway. Anyway... had we not experienced that, I would have given this hotel five stars, as we did have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
