    We had a very small room....probably 300 Sq ft if that.... not sure if all rooms were that size

    Main elevator was disabled. TV did not work. Moved to another room, where the smoke alarm was beeping with a low battery. AC unit is loud. No manager was a available on a Friday night and Saturday could not be promised.

    I accidentally booked the day before I was supposed to go and I called them if they would be able to cancel my reservation for the day. They did not want to in-spite of me telling them I will not be able to come that day. I told them I had booked the next day(actual day) in this hotel itself but they gave no consideration.

    The rudest person i ever encountered at a hotel. This use to be my go to spot when visiting my kids, but unfortunately the lady that was working that last day I was there ruined it forever. I called and told corporate as a courtesy, (not to try and get accommodation) and they tried talking over me and didn't seem to care much either. I will never stay at a best western ever again. Which is sad because I dont complain often at all. Look at my reviews! 90% of the time its positive. I usually just decide not to go to a place again if service is bad but this was mind blowing. I literally thought I was on a prank show....! Any review saying it was great, is paid for, or, had a different person. Nonetheless, dont waste your time contacting corporate...

    I would have rated my recent stay at this Best Western location as exceptional if not for my last night there. Both Mamie and Kayla were not only professional but were incredibly kind. The great services they provided was unfortunately eclipsed by another employee. On Friday May 22nd at approximately 10:00am, I left the blue door hanger on my door stating "Please make up my room" and returned at approximately 10:30pm to an uncleanee room. I went to the front desk and ask the black, male attendant at the front desk working what time room service starts and ends. He informed me that since covid guests are advised to request room service by coming to the front desk. I asked what is the point of leaving the hanger on the door if this is the case. He admittely began to take a hostile tone, even instructing me in the most unprofessional way that he would give me clean sheets for my bed and that I would have to make it myself. I've stayed in hotels all across the world and had never encountered someone so unprofessional in my life. I asked for his name and corporate number and he told me he did not have to give me his name and abruptly stated "bye." The next morning I spoke with Mamie and explained to her what happened with the room service. She expressed that is the door hanger was placed on the door the staff should have cleaned the room. She also apologized for her colleague's behavior. I was dealing with a personal matter which resulted in me having an emotional moment and she immediately came from behind the front desk, gave me a hug and consoled me as if I were a part of her family. Mamie's kindness is something I will NEVER forget and it meant the world to me that she was so empathetic when she knew nothing what I was going through. That said, i am honestly conflicted because of how kind Mamie and Kayla were. Unfortunately as great as the staff was, the unprofessional behavior of the black male front desk staffer is one that will not allow me to ever recommend anyone staying here. Because the rude staffer did not provide his name, I have attached a photo of him so that Management knows specifically who this complaint is in regards to.
