  Location is decent and the river is nice but that’s about it. We checked in and walked into a very dirty room. Got a new one that was “clean”, immediately noticed it smelled very weird. Carpet was so nasty it turns your socks black. Nasty looking bloody stains not cleaned off the doors, walls, curtains. Mold and hair left in the shower which also wouldn’t drain. Hated that. The balcony which we’re trying to focus on is quite literally spider infested with a constant leak that makes all of the chairs out there wet no matter the weather. The location is fine but for the cleanliness alone we won’t be back.

  Attitude soon as we got there. You could tell the employee didn’t want to wait on us. She wasn’t behind the desk either, but rather sitting and acted like we were an inconvenience for walking in. The placed reeked of weed! It needed major improvement. The beds were uncomfortable. The room itself was clean enough, but other areas throughout needed much improvement, like the breakfast area. I would not stay here again. The only reason we did, was because we booked through priceline without knowing the details.

  For $150 for two nights off their website right in downtown gatlinburg and a river view balconly, I’d come back. If your used to fancy maybe go somewhere else. The pool isnt that dirty just is right under and tree and leaves fall into. We swam. The service was the only hiccup. Hit or miss. We are coming back for christmas tho. Definetely getting a suite next time. Houskeeping could have done better.

  Great location—you can leave your car and walk to many of Gatlinburg’s attractions. We got a larger room with a nice location next to the river. Unfortunately, the first room assigned to us couldn’t be opened, so we had to move. The second room was a decent size, but the furniture was worn and broken, and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly. We had to use a plunger ourselves since no technician was available. The hotel definitely needs some updates and better maintenance. The full breakfast was a nice plus, though.

  I really enjoyed this motel! Beautiful clean rooms! All of the rooms overlook the river in the back with a personal balcony and up front it overlooks the parking lot. Motel goes up to 7 floors. I would recommend a lower floor to be closer to the river. The air conditioning was great! When we were there Gatlinburg was in the 90s. When we would come back at night it would feel like an icebox. Slept very well. The best part of this hotel was the nice rooms but the next best part was the awesome breakfast! All you can eat eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels with cream cheese, toast, orange juice, Apple juice, muffins, oatmeal and more. It is a little off of the main stretch but not too far. Just around the corner pretty much. If you don't like to walk though there's a trolley stop very close by. The trolley is free it will take you right downtown. To me it's worth a little extra walking because of the nice rooms. The Ober tram almost goes over the hotel when it takes off. I would definitely come back to this hotel again if I come back to Gatlinburg. The staff was friendly as well.
