If I could give zero stars I would. Stayed here on 6/27/26 for one night on our way to Florida. Place was full of trashy people. Smoking marajuana on the balconies, screaming and yelling most of the night, air conditioner sounded like we were working in a factory it was so loud. Sheets smelled like another man’s cologne. And then I was charged a $250 smoking fee even though we don’t smoke and they refused to refund my money. Never again!
I don’t generally stay at Best Western Hotels but let me tell you, as someone that’s travelled the whole country over and over for nearly two decades in the military, I’ve stayed here a handful of times and I really can’t say enough. This place is always clean, the beds are comfy, large rooms, they’re dry - not musty and the staff is always pleasant. It’s a great location, Starbucks and Dunkin’ practically in the parking lot, Publix right behind us, and Einstein Bagels and Waffle House right next door too. The Factory is just three miles away, which is a great time for meals or just drinks. Direct and easy access to the highway for traveling and a gas station right next door to fill up before you go. This place feels safe and it’s very convenient. I’d highly recommend this place for simply passing through or a long term vacation stay.

Absolutely loved this place. The room was small but comfortable. Bed was soft, shower was clean and had great pressure and the room was clean.

It’s our first time staying in Our room, and it meets your basic needs for the most part. The shower is fantastic! I would just want to point out that the carpet is dirty. Our toddlers feet are black from walking on it and ours as well. So we literally are washing our feet (again) before we leave to go home today. Service is fine, my husband only really met with the front desk and she said our room was that way (pointed to the right)we soon figured out it was behind the building. Overall, not a bad stay! It’s decent when you need somewhere quick and affordable to stay and rest. If you are a pillow person like me and love pillows, bring your own pillows. The pillows are very small and deflate when you lay on them. Overall, it’s a decent stay and now we know what to expect, we will most likely come back when we have to make a quick stay and sleep somewhere. 🙌🏼😌

Our stay at Best Western Franklin Inn was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We were in town for a family graduation and expected a simple, clean, stress-free stay. Instead, we dealt with disgusting room conditions, terrible maintenance, and some of the worst customer service imaginable.
The cleanliness issues alone were unacceptable. In our room, we found a used bra and panties left behind from a previous guest, which immediately made us question whether the room had been cleaned at all. There was also a used hair tie sitting in the shower. The room itself smelled musty and damp, and the white sheets had visible stains on the sides — looked like wine stains, but honestly could have been blood. Either way, absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable for any hotel.
The pool situation was even worse. There was a dead mouse floating in the pool, and my nephew ended up removing it himself because apparently nobody from the hotel was paying attention or maintaining the area properly. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about the standards at this place.
The amenities barely worked. The room phones did not work at all, which made it impossible to contact the front desk without calling on your own cellphone or physically going downstairs. The TV was out for most of the first day, and when it finally worked, the picture quality was terrible. No smart TVs either, which feels outdated considering even budget hotels are offering better setups now.
The customer service was beyond frustrating. We accidentally booked an extra room while arranging accommodations for our family graduation trip. The hotel didn’t even contact us about the unused room until halfway through the SECOND day after check-in should have occurred. At that point, we explained we were away at graduation events and realized the room had been booked by mistake and was not needed.
Because we returned late from family events, I wasn’t able to follow up in person until the next day. Despite acknowledging the room was a mistake and unused, the staff refused to refund even the second night back to our credit card. Their excuse was that they “couldn’t take our word over the phone.” When I asked to speak with a manager, conveniently none were available. I was told to call back at the beginning of the following week and “try to resolve it then.” The front desk employee was completely unhelpful and repeatedly said there was nothing he could do without a manager.
To make matters worse, while I was discussing the issue at the front desk, multiple other guests were visibly upset and complaining about their own stays and problems with the hotel. Clearly, we were not the only people having a terrible experience.
Avoid this hotel if at all possible. Spend a little extra money and stay somewhere cleaner, safer, and professionally managed. This place has filthy rooms, poor maintenance, terrible communication, and customer service that does not follow through on its own policies. It genuinely felt like they were more interested in taking people’s money than providing a decent stay.
