  I enjoyed my stay. Room is a little dated and the ac was older (but worked) but struggled to keep the room cold in the heat of the day. Mattress sagged on the edge by the night stand BUT the middle of the bed was good and I was still able to get a good night sleep. Pool was closed which was a bummer. However, the location to food and pubs was excellent. Overall, a good stay.

  The bathroom had mold in the grout. The ooms were tired and dingy. The lobby bathroom was held together by painters tape and infested with sewer flies. Although I reported to front desk, they were dismissive making it seem that they were aware of the dire straits of the facility.

  Pool was closed on a hot SC Charelston 2 days in July !!! One of the main reason for staying for a cooling dip while staying. Phone lines were out of order too, what up w/ that nonsense ?? The location was convienient to getting to our BD dinner & Museum next day, that's why we did an overnite..... BW has consistently stopped it's customer service excellence and treating their properties as 2nd rate vaca stop overs ! What is going on w/ these Franchise owners ??? Not a good look at all for BW !

  Was not aware of the renovation construction from 8a-8pm. The pool was closed even tho it was July. We put a “do not disturb” on our door before leaving for lunch and when we got back they had been in our room anyway. I had asked for more pillows and blankets they had no extra. There’s no were to sit and smoke cigarettes outside. The ladies at the front desk acted like we were bothering them to do their job when we were checking in. No bathtub in the room, only a shower. Even tho the pictures online featured a bathtub. No robe provided. But the breakfast was good.

  Stayed for one night. The first room we were assigned smelled strongly of marijuana. As soon as we opened the door, it was like a cloud of smoke hit us, which was especially ironic considering I had just signed a no-smoking policy. I immediately went to the front desk and requested a different room. The second room seemed fine at first, so we dropped off our bags, turned the A/C on, and left for the day. When we returned, the room was extremely hot. We also found roaches, the toilet wasn't working properly, and despite waiting over an hour, the A/C never cooled the room. We eventually realized there was a ceiling vent blowing hot air into the room, seemingly from outside, which completely overpowered the air conditioner even though it was set to the lowest temperature. I'm not an HVAC expert, but I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to work that way. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable. Between the marijuana smell in the first room, the roaches, broken toilet, and ineffective air conditioning in the second, I would not stay here again especially for what they charge for this poor of quality.
