I stayed at Best Western Plus and had a very disappointing experience. I was incorrectly charged a $127 “no call/no show” fee even though I was already staying at the hotel and simply switched rooms. On top of that, I was also charged an additional room-switching fee.
I contacted the front desk multiple times, and each time I was told the issue would be reported to management. I was even given a manager’s email address and sent a detailed message, but I never received a response. The lack of communication, accountability, and customer service has been extremely frustrating.
I would not recommend this hotel based on how this situation was handled.

I recently stayed at a Best Western hotel and had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience. The room and hallways were not just dusty, but visibly dirty. There were even what appeared to be blood stains present, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious health and safety concerns.
Additionally, parts of the room were poorly maintained, including missing outlet covers, which is a clear safety hazard—especially for guests traveling with children.
The customer service only made things worse. The female staff member at the front desk was rude and dismissive. When I asked for extra linens and towels, I was told none were available, which is unacceptable for a hotel.
I attempted to resolve these issues by contacting management, but the manager has refused to return my calls. The lack of response and accountability is extremely frustrating.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay due to poor cleanliness, unsafe room conditions, and unprofessional staff. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

This was our second time staying at the best western for an event in the poconos. I had booked an 8 room block for our group where correspondence with Sanjiv was untimely and incorrect. Upon arrival our toilet didnt flush very well and maintenance was sent to plunge. We went out for dinner and returned. It worked for 1 flush then the water would continue to rise. The front desk asked if I would like the plunger to do it myself or send maintenance up again. Maintenance came up, acted like I was the one who created the problem. After he left, the same thing happened. It sort of flushed and the water level would rise. The next morning I called down to have it fixed and the front desk did not answer. We left for our all-day event and returned around 3p. I requested maintenance at the front desk and some wash cloths. The man said if I wanted cloths I should have asked before 2nd shift. Are we not at a hotel??? He said he would send maintenance up. We went out again around 4:30 and upon returning realized maintenance never came back. Went to the pool and received a call from the front desk at 9pm offering to switch rooms. We were leaving the next morning and I said that was a big hassle to load all our stuff into a different room for only maybe a few more flushes during our sleep. I requested a discount for having to use the bathroom down the hall and a poor attempt at fixing the toilet or offering a new room in a timely manner. I was told only Sanjiv can do that. So I emailed him, called him and spoke with him to which he said he was looking into it and would get back to me. He did not. I attempted another call and he is very unreachable. I’m sure he thought I would let this go. I’m very unhappy with his lacking customer service and how the situation was handled. I will not be returning.

The hotel is much smaller in person. The rooms are nice. But very small. The beds are VERY SMALL, and they are stiffer than a a damn plank. Could not sleep. Honestly I just had a baby two months ago and this was the worst sleep I’ve had yet and it wasn’t because of the baby.
