  The room was clean and staff very nice! Try to get room 212 if you can. Very comfortable, quiet, and good views of the town.

  The day we arrived our reservations and contract guarantees were in shambles. AK is a useless mess when it comes to management. After he left we had to deal with Cassie. the lady is a saint. She had our reservations, room guarantees and our meeting room contract straightened out. If you can deal with Cassie this is a great place to stay. AK, no way.

  This hotel was fine for one night. Did not get a restful sleep, you can hear absolutely everything from rooms nearby. The room smelled like sweaty shorts and was not fresh feeling. It appeared clean but the smell was off putting. Like I said, fine for one night for the price.

  Not only did I wait hours after working a night shift for my room when I had made a reservation, the staff woke me up with a do not disturb sign on the door multiple times. The manager also charged my card an additional night without telling me or asking me or providing me a receipt. The manager also made the comment “we do traveling nurses a favor by allowing them to check in early and not charging them”. Because of this they will not be getting my business anymore. I will also make sure to tell my traveling nurse friends not to give them their business as well.

  I was traveling from CT to IL for a funeral and this was my stop driving each way. Why? On my way to IL, it was a reasonable stop. Lemme just say, choosing this hotel was initially about price and availability. We checked in at 10pm without a reservation and you would have thought we had booked and arrived at 3pm. The staff was absolutely a pleasure to work with. We had a very nice room on the main floor (super helpful traveling with a baby and toddler) that overlooked a playground. Breakfast was fulling. On our trip back from IL, I again chose DuBois as a "goal" destination while driving. We again arrived around 10pm, no prebooked reservation, and was fortunate to not only get a room, as they were almost full, but also able to get the same exact room we had 7 days prior. I legit cannot express how wonderful the staff was during our stays. I was genuinely impressed with the professionalism and general heart of the team working there. They expressed empathy and condolences since our trip involved a death, and were gracious with assistance of a weird request (a ziploc bag... stupid, but so quick to help just meant the world to a grieving family). I just wanted to thank the entire DuBois Best Western team a sincere thanks for being such a bright spot in what was a tough week. Should I travel in the area again, I will absolutely, 100% be staying at this hotel again. Thank you so much for being so genuine.
