  One of the nicer Best Western rooms we have stayed at. Still don't understand why there are no handicap grab bars installed in the showers

  I booked a room for a trip to Prineville. When I checked in on Friday into room 309, I did a bed check like I do at any hotel I stay at. The mattress covers under the sheet on both beds had long hairs, dog hairs, and crumbs. Both obviously not being washed in a long time. The sheets themselves were clean. The mattress on the bed closest to the window was covered in crumbs (hopefully not bugs but it’s hard to tell) especially In the seams and where the beds little divots are. I asked to be moved to another room. The front desk young lady was very nice. I moved to room 410. The mattress covers were the same as the other room and the bed closest to the window had a big orange-y stain up near the pillows on the right side. It was then I decided to pack up my stuff and go stay with my sister. I understand that hotels get a lot of use and get run down, carpets, walls and floors can be dirty (and they were) etc. but a clean bed is a must for me. I have reached out to management twice and given them over a week, with no response.

  This is the worst $187 I've spent for a 1 night hotel stay. I wouldn't have minded the price but you should know a "standard room" is not a queen size bed, it is 1 full size bed. The bed was horribly uncomfortable on top of only being a full size, at least the pillows were comfortable. The shower was so loud it sounded like a space shuttle crash landing. Obviously not a good stay. The area is quiet & that's about all I can say.
